This charming holiday home offers a comfortable and inviting space for your stay. The layout includes:



* **Eat-in Kitchen:** Fully equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and cookware, making it easy to prepare your meals.

* **Spacious Living Area:** A welcoming area to relax and unwind.

* **Bedroom 1:** Features a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

* **Bedroom 2:** Includes two single beds.

The Neighborhood:

Crow Head is a tiny town on Twillingate Island, with an approximate population of 156. It's home to the Long Point Lighthouse and beautiful coastal hiking trails.



Getting Around:

Most people arrive in Crow Head by car. It's a lovely community to walk around but a car is necessary to get to the amenities in nearby Twillingate (i.e. grocery store, gas station, restaurants, etc.).



Other Things to Note:

This property has been operated as successful vacation home for years, consistently receiving 5-star reviews. Starting in the fall of 2022, the owners have hired Outport Realty to manage the property for them. As such, we are re-listing the property. The owners, who are local to Twillingate, take great pride in this home and look forward to hosting guests for many years to come.



A little history about the home:



Allan Sharpe was a carpenter and foreman in the Asarco mine in Buchans. He moved home in the 1960's to semi-retire and was known around Crow Head for his constant whistling as he worked around his property or as he walked about the town, hence the name "Whistler's View". Allan and his wife Clara spent their retirement years here. This was his home. This was his view.



The home was built in the 1960's and recently has undergone an extensive renovation both interior and exterior.

This was a lovely property in a great location. The host communicated very well and check-in and check-out were easy. There is a great view from the house over the town of Crow Head and out to the ocean. There is a lovely coffee house, the Crow's Nest Cafe, about a minute away. The Long Point Lighthouse is only a few minutes away with an interesting history and great views over the water. Twillingate is also only a few minutes drive, with lots of interesting artists' studios and nice restaurants. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Property

We had a great stay here - host was very easy to contact, and house was awesome. Beautiful view of the water and small village of Crow Head. Very well- equipped kitchen - we bought local seafood and ate in most evenings. Highly recommend this place.

The Best of the Best

We stayed here nine years ago with another couple. At that time we thought it was the best vacation home we had ever stayed at and still think it is the best. Gorgeous home, spectacular view, perfectly located. Everything is above and beyond expectations and more.Marie was very quick to reply to any of our inquiries. The welcoming plate of treats was a nice touch.

Icebergs!

Absolutely loved this location. Woke up with an ice berg seen from the entire front portion. Walked to the point for a much closer look & even managed to get a few pieces that floated ashore. It was such an incredible experience.

Perfect!!

We loved this accommodation in Crow Head with beautiful views in a quiet community. The house had everything we needed and was a quick drive to nearby Twillingate and many beautiful trails. Would definitely recommend.

Everything here could want or need

This home has everything you could want. No need to pick up coffee supplies. They’re all here. The view was great when it wasn’t raining and even when it was, they place was cozy and you could sit in front of the big windows and watch it all happen. You are close to everything here. The lighthouse and area is spectacular. Don’t miss out on the dinner theatre. The seafood at Sansome’s in Hillgrade is amazing.

Fantastic home to stay and visit the Twillingate area. The view from the deck is phenomenal and very quiet. The owner is very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Great location in Crow Head

The property was perfect for the 4 of us. We were there for a 4 night stay. Location had excellent views of the ocean. The full kitchen was great. Lots of local places to eat and things to see and do. It’s a very quite area with lots of places to walk and hike. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to the Crow Head/Twillingate area.

There was a large hedge around property that covered the house when driving by. This made it difficult to see easily. The house number was very small. The sign for the b&b was facing opposite of where we drove so it was missed and located too far away from house l. Thankful a local helped us find it. There was only decaf coffee available so we had to buy our own reg coffee. The house itself was great! Loved exploring around the area and enjoyed the space inside and out!
