Beautiful Kailua Hale Studio

Classic Hawaiian architecture on a beautifully landscaped property. You have free on-site parking and easy access to our outdoor shower. Our Surf Snoopy themed accommodation has all the modern day comfort features such as air conditioner, hair dryer, iron and board, washer/dryer, full size refrigerator/freezer, kitchenette, Keurig coffee machine, induction cooktop, toaster, microwave, and all the essentials to cook and eat your meal. Super comfortable memory foam king size bed, indoor and outdoor dining area and if you need to bring your work, we have a desk with super fast WiFi and CAT 5 network cable. We are a permitted short term rental which means you can stay for a few nights or as many nights as you need. Super comfortable and extremely clean, modern with everything you need for a wonderful stay. You have free use of our beach cruiser bicycles, beach towels, beach tote, coolers. We worked hard to think of all the details so you have a super comfortable and wonderful stay.

We are centrally located in the heart of Kailua. Kailua is best known for having the best beach in the world as well as a charming Kailua town. We are walking distance to Kailua Beach, Kailua Town, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, breweries. Kailua is a bike friendly town. Many major attractions on the island are 15-45 minute drive.
Quiet time from 8 PM till 8 AM
No events No parties.
No pets.
No smoking or vaping on the property or in the units.
No open flames, candles or incense. No business activities.


Wash off sand and salt water in the outdoor shower before entering the units.

Loved this rental! The bed was soooo comfortable, a dream. Perfect size for me but next time I would bring my plus 1 and we both would be comfortable. The bikes, chairs, towels and access to washer and dryer was perfect. Great spot to walk to restaurants (or bike) and easy morning walk to Kailua beach. I’ll be back for sure! Thank you for a great stay.

Excellent stay

This property provided everything we needed. The location was great as it was just a short walk or bike ride to either the beach or town. The bikes were provided by the owners as well as beach chairs, coolers etc. The owners were awesome and communicated check in, amenities, nearby restaurants, beaches, stores and everything we needed clearly and made for an easy, enjoyable stay. We will be back and we highly recommend.

Great spot and sooo clean!

We had such a great time here. I am lucky enough to say that I lived in Kailua back in 2021, coming back and staying in a location like this was really lovely! We were close enough to the beach but also so close to town and all of the shops and restaurants that I love, including the grocery store Whole Foods. Everything we needed was provided, the host was absolutely fantastic and even had a really cool Alexa system that answered all of our questions. He was available to answer questions as well if needed. Outdoor shower and beach chairs were such a lovely touch although we did not use them this trip, we hope to come back and take advantage of these amenities! The bed was comfortable, and the washer and dryer were such essential pluses!

We had an amazing stay! The place was clean, pretty, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. They even provided beach gear and bikes, which made exploring the area so easy and fun! The location couldn’t be better—perfect for visiting the beach and other nearby sights or trails. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Studio

Great apartment and location. The owner provided everything necessary for a great stay: fully functional kitchen and living areas, beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards, free washer and dryer, TV. Owner was very communicative and pleasant to work with. Will definitely stay again when in Kailua.

Kailua Hale Studio Stay

Found this place searching online for a better Kailua stay than my last one for work assignments. The hale studio was excellent for my needs & everything was exactly as promoted! No hidden fees, clean accommodations, with excellent amenities provided by the stay for parking, for beach visits and for Landry. Manager / Owner was always assessable for any concerns. It’s a great place to stay.

The location is perfect for the beach and restaurants. It’s an easy walk or bike ride. The unit had everything you needed for your stay and more. I would highly recommend.

Stop scrolling. This is the place!

Location, location, location. Plus everything you need. This is an updated property with on site laundry and a very comfortable bed. Tobi and Yvonne were amazing hosts who are very friendly and cover all your needs. There are beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards to use for the beach. Plus, beach cruiser bikes for rides to the beach or around town. Location, you will find nothing better. Less than a 10 minute walk to town or the beach. So close to absolutely everything. Especially to the best 2 beaches on the Island. We even walked to the Lanikai Pillbox Hike. Definitely staying here again.

Tobi is the best! Gave us a great tour and it’s such a cute spot. I love the peanuts decor, beautiful flowers, and optional outdoor shower :) and it was about a 10 minute walk to Kailua beach! Perfectly situated and chill.

Everything I'd expect plus more

Toby, thank you and your wife for a wonderful and memorable stay. I have experienced many short term rentals, and as an owner operator of multiple myself, I know what the industry standards look like. Additionally, as a home inspector, I'm naturally vigilant, paying close attention to detail. What I observed is that hands down, this was the best stay I've experienced. You exceeded my expectations. Location is critical, and ideally guests want to be at the epicenter of it all. Your home was the ideal location. I hate walking, but the proximity to all essentials gave me no choice. I was just so close to it all. Beach, shopping, night activities, just to name a few. Very convenient, great neighborhood. Conversely, you offered alternative transportation (bicycles), that would alleviate any reservations of having to take a vehicle. Great amenity. Sleeping and living conditions is another important factor. The place was isolated compared to other places/locations, it provided me with adequate room and privacy. Having to adjust to a six hour time difference made me wake up at midnight, and was glad I could take a walk, and not become a nuisance. Being larger than an average human, bed size is always a problem. Always seems to be a prevailing issue in my life for obvious reasons. Not in this case. The mattress was the perfect size for a large man like myself (6 & 230lbs). I slept like a baby. Kitchen was cozy and adequate choice/options. So was the bathroom.

Awesome Customer Service and Accommodations

My adult family of 5 had a wonderful stay and overall awesome experience in 2 of Tobi's apartments. Communication was prompt and responsive from day one until departure time. The units were clean, comfortable, updated, and conveniently located in the town of Kailua. The bonuses such as; use of bikes, extra towels, outdoor shower, big screen tv's, air conditioning were certainly appreciated. Tobi and his wife went above and beyond accommodating a few special requests. Highly recommended and plan to return as soon as able.

Paradise in a small town

I absolutely recommend this hidden gem. Clean and tidy home with everything you need. Location is perfect within walking distance to the shops in town and the beautiful beaches. Amazing hosts and overall amazing experience! Mahalo!!!

Fantastic stay in Kailua

I didn’t want to leave! Tobi’s place was spotless, a great location, super relaxing, and had more amenities than my apartment in SF. I am already looking on my calendar for return dates. He was a friendly and flexible host and made things so easy and relaxed for me - 5 stars

Everything you need

The hosts were excellent and made sure we had what we needed. It's a great location, with the beach around the corner (less than a mile), and great restaurants, shopping, etc the other way even closer. It was exactly what we needed.
