Completely New 1970’s themed home near whiskey row

Step back into the 1970's in this newly 100% remodeled 70's inspired 3 bedroom 2 bath home about 1/2 mile to Whiskey Row/Courthouse Square. Just a short walk up the street to the entrance to Acker Park. Everything is 2022 new except the orange washer/dryer and the vintage 70's glassware. Every dish..to every door handle..to every towel was curated with fun design in mind. Think Boutique Hotel not generic airbnb/vrbo. Nothing is generic or like a grandma's house. Great little house for a weekend

We had a great time! The house was great for our quick 2 day stay. The check in was easy and the location was convenient to everything we needed.

Great house and location!

The property was very clean and located within walking distance from downtown. The check-in and check-out process was easy and the property owner returned messages quickly. Overall, a great place to stay in Prescott!

Such a great place!

It was perfect for our Prescott vacation! Love how close to Mt. Vernon it is, we took lots of walks. The home is such a fun theme and was designed so well. Will stay again!

Great location great house great communication!

We came up for the bike race in Prescott with our son daughter in law and our 2 grandsons ages 3 and 6. The location is perfect. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town square without crossing a busy street. The neighborhood is quiet. The rooms in the house were all big enough. The bathrooms were modern and roomy with good counter space. All the appliances and furnishings are modern and working. It has great parking both on the driveway and on the street also a fenced backyard that the kids could play in. The owner let us know early afternoon that the house was ready early so we didn’t have to wait to check in. The WiFi was very fast. The house was very clean. And had a good floor plan with enough room. GREAT LOCATION!!!

A lot of love and attention to details went into creating the perfect '70s throw back! We had everything we needed, and our host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Prescott Vacay

This sunny home boarding the historic Prescott neighborhood and within walking distance to Whiskey Row, has new appliances and comfy memory foam beds. Kevin was a wonderful and accommodating host - available when you need him! Enjoyed are stay!

Fun place to stay

The house had plenty of room, everything was comfortable and well thought out. The whole property is so cool, I loved the look of all the 70s themed stuff and all the little touches really went a long way. Clean, spacious, close to everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, whole family was in love with the house by the time we left.

Amazing Stay!

We loved this 70’s home! Everything is as advertised. The whole process was easy, beds were very comfortable, decor was awesome, they even left some snacks in the cabinet! About a 10 minute walk to Whiskey Row area. Safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was OUTSTANDING!! The detail of the decorating was so fun and nostalgic! I think the house needs a lava lamp just to tie everything back to the 70’s! Great job!!

Groovy Place

We enjoyed the 70s vibe... a throwback to our teen years. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had a nice coffee maker. The beautiful tilework in kitchen and bath was a plus. Loved the proximity to Whiskey Row. My only suggestion would be more comfy living room furniture. Our host was great and answered questions promptly.

Great property 5 star all the way Only comment is that it shows a jacuzzi in the pictures but the jacuzzi was not maintained or filled. Was looking for to a soak with the wife.

1970’s decor is truly unique. It’s only a few blocks from downtown Prescott. Had slight issue with front door but manager was super responsive and issue resolved. It was overall great fun and excellent value

Perfection

The nostalgia of the home was perfect! Took a little trip in time with all of the modern amenities that made our stay amazing. The home is extremely clean which is super important to me and is complete with everything we needed for our stay. Our videos and pictures that we took, have our friends and family wanting to go back with us.

Great spot!

Would stay again in a heartbeat! Very clean and fabulously decorated/themed home within walking distance of downtown. Responsive and friendly host and a super comfy bed! Just a heads up there’s no central air conditioning.. the portable unit does a great job in the common area but bedrooms can get a bit hot. Lots of fans were provided so that really helped.

Good overall

We had a nice visit at the retro house. Family members were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't available, and it was hot when we got there but cooled down pretty well after the air conditioner was put on. There were ceiling fans in all the bedrooms which also helped. Overall we had a great time!

FAB !!

We've stayed at many 'themed homes' inn the past 20 years on VRBO. Mostly 'nautical' in anything near a body of water, but also plenty of 'cute country' or collections of chickens or bears. This is not a chintzy themed home. It's stylish and modern and clearly done by someone with real interior design credentials. There are small touches throughout that delight and surprise, All appliances and fixtures are very modern and functional while still sticking to the 70's look. The beds are new and very comfortable, the linens crisp with quality. The youthful and fit could easily walk to the historic district..we took the $5 Uber option. It's now our go-to rental for Prescott breaks and I'm even reluctant to mention the evenings we spent watching a family of deer graze in the small creek just outside the back fence in case availability becomes an issue when it's time to return.

Prescott Perfection

This location is perfect for a short getaway. Retro design but everything is new. Impressive new appliances, faucets, fixtures and lighting. Comfortable bedding and great size TVs. Fans in every room to keep good bedtime temps. Fridge has ice maker.

great location fun decor

I let my 20-year-old daughter pick the rental and she chose the home for the 70's decor. We loved it. Reminded me of my childhood. Great location in Prescott, which we are very familiar with, and easy to walk into town. We are from New York City so we like walking! Would highly recommend.
