French doors to the bedroom with queen bed, full bath, and there's a private deck over looking the private gravel beach. The beach is available for rock hunting and an evening fire. Coffee maker and microwave are ready to help start your day. You can walk anywhere for breakfast, lunch or diner in beautiful downtown Grand Marais. Leave the car parked and roam the charming city for shopping and hiking excursions in this charming North Shore retreat. Message studio is located in the same building, and a Finish Sauna is just up the beach, to truly relieve your stress.

Goodness in Grand Marais!

Location, location, location. It was a perfect location. Quiet and close to all the cool places. Also the best view of the Great Lake Superior! The bed was perfect and the shower was excellent. Loved it.

Wonderful spot on the big lake

Clean and comfortable spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of the big lake, and the location is wonderfully walkable. Have stayed in both units in this building and it is a favorite spot when coming to Grand Marais for a relaxing getaway. Depending on the season, you can enjoy the sunrise from bed!

Perfect couples getaway

This was just right for our 10th year anniversary! We loved being right in town, being right on the beach, and seeing the lake as the sun is rising. Couldn’t have asked for more and had the essentials we needed for a wonderful stay!

Perfect weekend getaway

We were located on the beach and within walking distance of everything in town we wanted to go to. The view and room were beautiful and had class and coziness. There was no tv, which I was fine with me but my husband was not super happy about it. This could be a plus if you are just trying to unplug. We had a fire on the beach in the fire pit, and looked at the stars . I will definitely be back. We love Grand Marais.

Surprisingly Spacious Hide Away

Room was clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly spacious and while it can be a busy foot-trafficked area on the weekends, the spot was like a hidden cove of solitude. You can't beat the view - beach, waves, pine trees in the distance. I learned to close my windows on weekend evenings as people make fires on the beach and the smoke will blow right into the room. But the breeze off the lake in the early morning was so refreshing. Walls are thin so pray that there is not a loud party or heavy snorer underneath you. I would bring earplugs for sleeping just in case.

Relaxing Stay

We loved our stay. Location was perfect. Accommodation was cozy with beautiful views. We were able to walk to all shops and restaurants within minutes. Located basically at trailhead of lighthouse and Artist Point. Beach is private in front of building with fire pit. We will be back!

Perfect spot

This was the perfect small size for me and my daughter, and located in the perfect spot in Grand Marais, right on the water! We would stay here again.

Weekend getaway

This small cabin was perfect for 2 people on a weekend to Grand Marais. The location was great with everything in town being very walkable. No kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge, but this was fine for a quick stay. Right on the shores of Lake Superior!

Fisherman Festive was this same weekend…appreciated private parking and beach were both labeled.

Perfection

Everything was perfection! We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. The view is breathtaking and we were so close to everything. The getaway is beautiful and always meets every expectation - clean, cozy with all you need. The owners is very responsive and makes it so easy to have a fantastic time. Just remember the word - PERFECTION! Until next year.

This cozy suite has a fantastic view east over lake Superior. You're right on the beach. It's a great spot for walking to many shops, galleries, and restaurants in town. Grand Marais is a quiet town at night. So all I heard at night was the waves of Superior. It's on the second floor, so you need to climb a flight of stairs. It has NO KITCHEN. So it's like a large hotel suite.

Lovely Beachside Stay

Lovely Accommodation for 2 right on the beach and near downtown- walk to everything! ( and ice cream and pizza right next door) ! Very clean - we happened to be there during a warm spell - but with the fan we were comfortable- we would stay here again!!

Beautiful location

Such a beautiful spot. It was perfect for us. Right on the water with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior and within walking distance of so much in town (activities, shopping, restaurants). We would definitely stay there again.
