Enjoy a stylish experience in the heart of Downtown Mount Dora! This gorgeous historic 1925 cottage is just a short 2 -minute walk to the main shopping and dining district of Mount Dora! This beautifully decorated 1000 square foot - 5 Star rental has been recently updated to reflect its old Florida cottage feel. With all of the thoughtful touches you will be sure to enjoy a comfortable stay in this beautiful city.


First time on the vacation rental market! This sparkling clean property is a one of a kind gem in the the center of Downtown Mount Dora! Become charmed as you step in and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The neutral tones throughout will make for a cozy and peaceful stay. As you enter into the cottage, you will be greeted by a beautiful entry with a designated workspace and a sitting area for your daily reading pleasure. Immediately notice the fine attention to detail in all the wood moldings along with the original hardwood floors this charming 1925 cottage has to offer. A 4K television that features Netflix and YouTube Live programming is available for your viewing. The fully equipped kitchen features a stove, oven, dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator and microwave as well as a Keurig coffee station for your daily dose of joe. A full-size washer/dryer combo is available for your use as well. As you enter the master suite you’ll notice a queen-size bed with memory foam mattress with cooling gel and high-end Egyptian cotton sheets along with premium pillows. Handsome shiplap siding is featured in both of the bedrooms and the bathroom. This bath features a newly remodeled walk-in shower to round out this nicely appointed space. A dining table is carefully set for a wonderful meal to enjoy with your friends and family. For additional guests, a sleeper sofa with a comfortable memory foam mattress is located in the living room. Board games and puzzles can also be found here if you decide to stay in. Your host will make sure you are well taken care of throughout your entire stay. We hope you take delight in our sweet cottage.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location, perfect for walking to downtown, nice neighborhood. I’ve stayed at a couple houses that Talia manages and I’ve never had a bad experience.

We were confirmed three days prior to our stay, then cancelled and hour before our arrival and we could not find another place to stay and they gave no reason why or any alternative accommodation so we had a terrible experience and had to book a bed and breakfast on VRBO that was completely stripped of flooring a d had concrete floors no furniture except the ow era bedroom which was filthy dirty, a broken toilet, a broken sink faucet, a broken shower with only a stem sticking out of the wall and one working sink so covered in soap scum I had to use a towel to turn it on. She only had her bedroom for us to sleep in so she slept on the concrete floor with an air mattress she said. She had two dogs that jumped all over it s and the furniture and tore my husbands arm up and had it bleeding. The worst experience we’ve ever had! The we were charged 300 per night for this dump. Very unfair and we left because we couldn’t stay under those circumstances.

Perfect in Every Way

Spent a few days for a girls trip and this house was great in the amount of space and its location in Mt. Dora. Was very comfortable and had all of the amenities needed to help us enjoy our stay.

Comfortable, convenient and clean!

This cottage is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. So nice to be able to walk to downtown Mt Dora shops and restaurants as parking is at a premium there. Would be a perfect place to stay for the many festivals downtown.

Weekend Getaway

This home is in the perfect location being within walking distance to downtown. We grabbed coffee at the little coffee shop down the street and enjoyed it under the trees at the park. Overall a very comfortable stay with an “at home” feel.

The Dewberry was perfect for our recent visit to Mount Dora. It was located in a quiet neighborhood just s short walk to historic Mount Dora. Beautifully furnished with thoughtful, personal touches. Very comfortable beds!

The Dewberry was a beautiful property—luxury all the way. One of the best vacation rentals I’ve stayed at. Talia is a super host, very accessible and she had even decorated for Christmas. We had everything we needed and we couldn’t have been closer to downtown. It was super easy to pop down the street for shopping, dinner, or just a coffee. The property is clean, modern and is as shown in the pictures. I highly recommend The Dewberry. - Paula

Location, Location, Location!

The Dewberry was incredible! The property was exceptionally clean and spacious and was decorated beautifully. The beds and pillows were so comfy, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The location was also perfect, and was only steps away from the shops and restaurants. The owner Talia was accessible and responsive to answer our questions and meet our needs. If anyone is looking for a quaint town with lots of great shops and restaurants all within walking distance, the Dewberry in Mt Dora is the place to stay. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay. EVERYTHING was clean and easy to get to town. Tinker, my little dog, was/is

Quiet, a beautiful blue tree decorated at the end of the street. I really loved it!! Very close to town which. was great for me due to walking problems. I TOTALLY LOVED IT and I hope left it as clean as I found it!! Also, I have a glass kf wine with dinner, lo and behold there was a wonderful bottle. Of delicious white wine!!! I would definately go back there. So clean and I loved jt!!!

The location is great for downtown Mount Dora and the house is clean and nicely decorated. The house has a strong musty smell and the AC does not keep the house properly cooled. Aside from those two challenges, it’s a nice place to stay.
