Welcome to the Campout on El Campo. This Bungalow is the perfect place for a couples getaway, girls weekend, families, rodeo fans or TCU parents/alums heading in for the game!

Property amenities include, parking, large covered outdoor area with dining table, firepit and TV, Blackstone griddle, spacious yard.

At night, this property becomes the perfect place to entertain or an easy walk home from concerts, shopping, dining, or bar hopping.

We are ready to greet you with rustic-modern finishes, fresh linens, and a warm cup of coffee from the Keurig.

Why pay for Rodeo or Dickies Arena parking when it’s only a ½ mile walk?

The Campout on El Campo is located in the center of everything DFW has to offer!

DFW airport is just 30 minutes away. This property is easy access to Downtown Fort Worth, The Stockyards, the Fort Worth Zoo, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, The Ballpark in Arlington, Cowboys Stadium, Dickies Arena, American Airlines Center, Will Rogers Memorial Center, Clearfork, Trinity River (and trails), Panther Island, the hospital district and much more!
Plus, easy access to see the TCU games, the Rangers, the Cowboys, or NASCAR and only a 30 min drive to Dallas.

My favorite hangout areas are Clearfork, West 7th, Sundance Square where you can discover local breweries and wineries, specialty restaurants, high-end shopping and custom clothing boutiques offering that Fort Worth flair.

The entire home and outdoor area is covered by AT&T Wi-Fi network with the highest speed available and Direct TV stream so you can record your favorite shows.

Washer and Dryer available for use by guests during their stay. This home is drug-free and smoke-free indoors and outdoors including vapes and e-cigarettes. Maximum of 8 guests on property without pre-approval and NO LARGE PARTIES.

Owner is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Texas.

We love our home and are dog friendly with a fee. If you arrive with a pet and you didn’t pay the fee, it will be due immediately. If you refuse to pay, you will be asked to leave by local authorities.

Second stay — and we’d book it again in a heartbeat!!!This was our second time staying at this Fort Worth VRBO, and it was just as great as we remembered. The home is comfortable, clean, and exactly as described, and the location is a huge bonus — so close to Dickies Arena and tons of fun Fort Worth spots, which makes it really easy to get out and enjoy the city.But the real reason we keep coming back is the host. We had an unexpected situation come up during our trip, and she was genuinely kind, flexible, and incredibly understanding. Communication was quick and thoughtful, and she went above and beyond in a way we won’t forget. If you want a place with a host who truly cares, this is it. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the Campout! Kerry was so welcoming and accommodating. She thought of everything we could have needed during our stay! The house was cozy and so very cute! It was the perfect place for our mom & daughter weekend and we can’t wait to visit again!

The house was perfect for our family. Older house, older neighborhood and we loved it. The house had upgrades that made it very comfortable and cozy for us. The location was exactly where we needed it to be (walking distance to Dickies Arena).

We Loved this beautiful house on El Campo! it was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed! Our host, Kelly, was awesome, communication was fantastic and prompt! But what stood out most was her helpfulness when we needed to check in just a bit earlier than the scheduled time. That definitely made our trip less stressful :). It was also our furry baby's first long trip to a new place and being pet friendly was a plus! Thank you so much for everything Kelly!! We will be staying again when we head back!

The house was so clean, and the decor was lovely. We enjoyed the tree! We didn’t get to cook, or spend much time there as we were busy with moving our son. I would definitely stay again. It was very pet friendly!

Unfortunately, the mattresses were extremely hard which made it difficult to sleep. Kitchen cabinet are not cleaned out by the cleaning crew, messy and dirty. The location is great.

Camped out on El Campo

I stayed for 6 nights on El Campo. Host was very accommodating and made sure things were the best they could be for my stay. Excellent location for Dickies arena or events nearby. Cute neighborhood that is very safe. Fenced and shaded backyard is perfect for pet. The house was very clean and exactly as described.

Coming from a Rodeo Family, I was born and raised in Fort Worth with strong family ties to the Downtown/Stockyards area.
As a single Mom, I purchased this home to be centrally located for my kids. We love Fort Worth, all it has to offer and the ability to walk everywhere.

Now, Texas High School Football has moved us closer to the Dallas area for a few years. We'd love for others to be able to take advantage of the amenities we've enjoyed. Rest assured, we will be back.....We LOVE You Fort Worth!

During renovations I tried to salvage as much of the original character of the home, while incorporating some modern touches everyone desires. This home was originally built in 1937 with no HVAC system and only a wood-burning stove. The oak floors have been refinished and restored, along with the fireplace moldings. Don't worry, we added an HVAC system, covered patio and garage.

Before the days of The World Famous Dickies Arena, we would walk to the Art and Science Museums, Casa Manana & for over 125 years the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo has brought visitors from all over the Country.

We are so grateful to own and love The Campout on El Campo.
