We enjoyed our stay, the family loved fishing on Peyton Lake, very unique place so close to Indianapolis but so close to nature, would stay again

Very nice and attentive host and a comfortable place. The location and proximity to Indy is excellent. House was clean and comfortable.While the home sits on several acres, the house is just about 25 ft from a fairly busy road - something we misinterpreted from the listing. The garage game room is a neat feature but it’s not climate controlled so can get a little hot and humid. Overall the home is nice but shows some age and deferred maintenance. Not a bad stay by any stretch but not fancy. One of the bedrooms is essentially a hallway converted into a bedroom so it can get a lot of ambient light and noise from the adjoining game room and kitchen. The rest are traditional, clean, and comfortable.Overall great host and great location with a home that’s fine but not exceptional.

Our experience at this Vrbo property was absolutely terrible and nowhere near what was advertised!! The photos and listing gave us expectations that the property simply did not meet. Upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed by the overall condition of the home and the lack of cleanliness and maintenance. We checked in at 4..and left that evening! There were bugs throughout the property, the place was not clean, the gutters were hanging down, and the ceiling fans were broken. These issues made the property feel neglected, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable to stay in. For the price we paid, we expected a clean, safe, and well-maintained property that matched the photos and description. Unfortunately, that was far from what we received.It is incredibly frustrating to book a vacation rental based on the pictures and description, only to arrive and find that the reality is completely different. A vacation is supposed to be a time to relax and enjoy yourself, not deal with cleanliness issues, bugs, and broken fixtures.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and the property did not live up to the standards or expectations set by the listing. The owner needs to take responsibility for the condition of this property and address these issues before renting it out to other guests. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Vrbo, and I would not stay here again. The property was simply not worth the money, and the experience fell far below expectations.

House is clean and spacious and entertaining. Enjoyed the hot tub, the large bathroom and the fire pit by the pond. It was a very relaxing and inviting stay for the whole family.

My friends and I stayed here for a quick overnight stay so we were to able to enjoy ALL of the really cool amenities but we really enjoyed the spacious well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, clean and updated bathrooms, plus beautiful view. We plan to return when we can enjoy the game room, hot tub and fire pit. (it was below Zero when we stayed so no outdoor opportunities).

Family visits once a year from Las Vegas and this time we wanted to try something very different. Safe to say my family enjoyed it from kids to the elderly. Teens enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was amazing and the host is very responsive they give you a welcome home feeling and not 3rd party host who do not care. Location is great and the scenery was the cherry on top. Thank you we have found our place to visit yearly!

Country Comforts

This property has lots of space for everyone. Beds were very comfortable. Our grandson loved seeing the horses near the house and the geese and their babies by the lake.Aaron was very quick to respond when we reached out. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

Lots of area outside for activities. Great firepit area perfect for S’mores and relaxing. Convenient to interstate and within easy distance to downtown Indianapolis for things like The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium, Victory Field (Triple-A baseball), Indianapolis Zoo. Add on of visiting horses, donkeys, & other animals was great for children. Overall a great value for a family getaway.

Family trip to Indy

We traveled to Indy for the Solar Eclipse and were very impressed with the convenience of the property. It had everything we could need and more to have the perfect vacation! The hosts were easily accessible for any concerns if needed. Highly recommend this listing.

Felt at home

We were in town for a baseball tournament. This was a great place to come back an unwind after the games with our family and friends. The host were amazing and made everything very simple which is what I needed with a hectic few days of baseball schedule. We would stay here again!

Great country getaway

The kids had a funny little getaway adventure on the property. The lake and creek was neat to explore. Lots of seating options outside. The house looks small on the outside, but the inside is spacious and lots of spaces for everyone to sleep. Kids also liked the arcade in the garage. Would love to stay here again.
