Pros: I liked the location; it's perfect for a family of 2-4. It's in good proximity to the U of U campus, Sugar House, and Downtown. Everything 8-10 min away by car. The bedrooms are a decent size, and the couch was comfy to sleep on. The kitchen was stocked enough with pans and seasonings to make breakfast each day. There is plenty of parking.Cons: Delays in communication led to a lot of frustration. Asked for extra sheets the day we got in, received a reply the next day. Shared our concerns about the temporary, portable A/C units not being sealed well enough, allowing wildfire smoke from outside in. The reply I received instead was... I hope everything is great with your stay. Then I asked to revisit my concern about the smoke; 8 hrs later, I received a message telling me to just remove the portable units myself. At that point, I told the host that since I hadn't heard back, I'd booked another place to stay for the night. I also don't think it's the renter's job to remove portable window units. No credit was offered for the inconvenience. I asked for a later checkout the day before and received an OK to check out later, hours after we already left. There is also a musty smell in the hallway when entering the complex and in the condo itself where the washing machine is. The fridge was leaking water onto all our food.We will be coming to Utah frequently and have canceled future bookings with this host.
