Blue Mermaid! Beautiful home 4 blocks from the beach!

The property sits on a large lot with ample parking for three vehicles- without having to park on the street. The bedrooms are all very roomy with lots of natural light. The kitchen is huge with tons of storage and a gas stove. There is a full dining area inside and out. But, our favorite part is the outside seating area. With an outdoor sofa and grill, we love to sit outside and catch up with friends and family after a day at the beach. (We have an outdoor shower to wash off the salt, too). There are plenty of beach toys and bikes to make sure you enjoy your days in the sun to the fullest. So, come hang out and relax at The Blue Mermaid.

Enjoy a relaxing Galveston getaway just a short walk from the Seawall. This coastal home offers quiet mornings on the private patio, easy beach access, and a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the island.

A Birthday Getaway

We enjoyed the fact that it was so close to any activities and restaurants we wanted to go to as well as Pleasure Pier being a few blocks away. Great communication with property owners. Will go again.

Came for a short fun trip with our grandchildren. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, Galveston has so many other things to do, than just the beach. And the house was perfect.

Awesome stay in Galveston

Stayed at the Blue Mermaid for two nights before a cruise. The house was awesome, beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Location was great t- close to beach, restaurants, Strand and the cruise terminal so couldn't ask for better. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Amazing Property

We loved The Blue Mermaid! It was very clean, a great size for a family of 5. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Impressive!

This was a really nice house. The outside spaces were numerous and the large yard is a real standout. The inside was just as impressive.The house is well furnished and large. We would definitely stay here again.

The property matched the description. Lovely, very clean house close to the seawall blvd and pleasure pier. Check in process was very easy, we received all the necessary information on time and had no problems. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stunning Cottage!

The cottage exterior is lovely with trees, greenery, welcoming covered porch and black iron fencing and gate. The cottage has 3 lovely bedrooms, each with a VERY comfortable bed. Every detail of decor and comfort in each room has been carefully curated.When we cruise again, we will definately stay at Blue Mermaid has been carefully curated.curated

Gorgeous house and short walk to the beach!

Super clean and cute house with everything we needed. Grocery store is only about 3 miles away and we loved that the beach is only a few blocks away and on a quiet, safe street. The Strand is also close as are many restaurants. We all slept well and the house is so quiet! Wifi was fast and stable for our needs and we took advantage of the smart TVs. Happy to return here for our next visit as well as recommend to our friends!

Nice place

Had a good time. The only downfall was we were vacation and paid the cleaning fee for the unit to be cleaned. Read the welcome book. We had to wash all of our bath towels we used, put all the dishes in the dishwasher and start it. Again when you are charging a cleaning fee that is what you are paying for. Don’t get me wrong we are very clean adults and do not leave any place we stay at a mess. I do not think we will stay in this unit again

It’s a vibrant community that hosts cultural events year-round, like ArtWalks and Mardi Gras, while offering easy access to the waterfront for scenic views and activities. Plus, you’re never far from the beach and parks, making it the perfect blend of history, convenience, and coastal living.

The Blue Mermaid is reminiscent of a coastal cottage- with almost 1,700 interior square feet. She sits on an oversize lot with off street, fenced parking. We lovingly furnished her with all the comforts of your own home. We didn't compromise on quality pillows and linens, comfortable sofas, tasteful decor, and an attempt to have every kitchen item you might need to prepare a meal for your family and friends. She is pet friendly too as we know the importance of our own furry family members. Come relax on either of our two porches or our outdoor sofa while you recount the lovely memories you made on our beautiful island.
