Great Location

The location to the beach was great. The management company was very responsive to text messages during our stay. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. I would recommend this house.

Great place to stay! We loved the house and the area!

My family loved staying at this house, the interior was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. They have a few beach chairs you can use, which is nice, and this house is very baby/kid friendly! We loved the restaurants and the dock being right near the house, and it’s only a few minutes to walk to the beach as well! There are a few playgrounds within walking distance, as well as a disc golf course, which was really fun!

Paid 6800 for a week to come into a house that hadn’t been cleaned. They sent an emergency house cleaner over whom spent about an hour and a half on trying her best to clean this big house by herself. Floors not clean, feet completely black from walking from second floor primary suite to third floor kitchen, bath mats filthy, so many broken things, queen bedding on king bed and so much more. Poor communication. I contacted them three times before arriving in regards to type of coffee maker. No response. Wrote email about problems no response. I would be very leary of dealing with Carolina Realty again. And it is to bad. The house is in a great location just needs some TLC with better communication.

Wedding at Kure Beach

We had a great time and great stay. Kure for the Soul was very nice! Clean, relaxing and everything we needed. We had myself, husband, son and girlfriend, daughter and sister and brother-in-law. The kitchen and great room was very nice. We prepared some meals and ate out for some meals. Our daughter got married on Kire beach and they live in Wilmington. This house was perfect!

HORRIBLY FILTHY

The place was so dirty!! There was a ton of dog hair on my sheets- INUNDATED WITH IT! The toilets had urine & pubic hairs all over, none of the bathrooms had been cleaned. All cushions were missing, kitchen disorganized! Downstairs AC not working, floors were dirty, couch pillows were dirty, doors to master bedroom don’t have a lock and all others lock from the outside only. House needed a DEEP cleaning! Management tried to suggest I PAY $750 to get it done. Ridiculous suggestion! They did let me check in early, which was also thrown in my face, but if I knew I was checking into that mess I'd of definitely waited! Came to find out later that the owner themselves went to so called clean the house instead of a professional cleaning company. The attitude that these gals have is awful, poor customer service skills! Oh, and you can’t talk to a person, only text messages. You’ll see the attitude by their reply to me, I’m sure so, take note.

Thank you for your feedback Lilliam. We are sorry you experienced these issues during your stay. We understand your frustrations about checking into a home that isn't clean upon arrival. This has been addressed with the cleaning crew. Some of the issues you wanted addressed would require a deep clean which requires a lot of time and money which simply isn't feasible during the summer. Our office is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 5 pm and we are always reachable by phone call should you choose to call our office. The summer is a busy time for us so sometimes text message communications is more time efficient and so we have our conversations in writing. From our text messages, you were interested in trying to obtain a long-term lease which makes us think you enjoyed our home and working with us. We are sorry you were displeased with the home. We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking to improve our guest experience. Thanks!
