Clean and cozy condo
Immaculate condo with great location. The communication with the owners was great. We stayed for 5 nights with 3 kids and the futon and sofa bed were very comfortable for the kids (MUCH more comfortable than other sofa beds!).

First time to Sunday River
My girlfriend and I had our first adventure to Sunday River. Our stay in the condo was excellent. Its super close to the slopes and to several breweries. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. The bed and the couch are super comfortable - I think they are memory foam... not too hard, not too soft :)

Sunday River Family trip!
Our family had an awesome trip. The condo is extremely close to the mountain and the condo is super clean, and tidy. Make sure to read the hosts condo summary as it has really good tips on stores nearby, and where to grab sheets/blankets/pillows for the sofabed. We were in town for the Santa Sunday run. Super festive and what a great cause!

Cute, convenient condo
Condo was close to the main road, making it easy to access. Comfortable space in a nice set of condos. Woke up to birds chirping and watched the robin flying to-and-from its nest on the back porch. Condo included a full kitchen, so we were able to cook the foods necessary for our sensitive stomachs, which always makes a trip easier! Enjoyable visit, would come again!

Hi, we’re Jeff & Jess, along with our son JJ. We live here in beautiful Freeport, Maine and are the owners and operators of ProActive Properties. Since 2014, we have welcomed guests to some of our favorite destinations throughout Maine and beyond, helping families and travelers create memorable experiences together.
Travel and hospitality have always been a major part of our lives. Jeff is also the owner of ActivSport Travel, an international educational and sports travel company that has organized experiences around the world for schools, teams, and groups. Jess has an extensive background in education as a high school math teacher and has also led international educational travel programs. Our shared passions for travel, skiing, soccer, the outdoors, and exploring new places inspired us to create spaces where others can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories.
This home is especially meaningful to us. We first discovered this property in the summer of 2014 while walking our beloved dogs, Gustav and Nelson, near Wolfe’s Neck State Park. From the moment we found it, we envisioned creating a peaceful coastal retreat where guests could truly experience the natural beauty, privacy, and charm of Maine.

Welcome to western Maine! We hope you have a wonderful stay and enjoy everything the Sunday River and Bethel area has to offer throughout all four seasons.
We chose this property because we loved the unbeatable location near Sunday River Resort while still being just far enough away from the busy on-mountain condo scene to enjoy a more relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The convenience of being only minutes from the ski lifts, downtown Bethel, local breweries, restaurants, and outdoor activities makes this area incredibly special year-round.
One of our favorite parts of the neighborhood is the balance between outdoor adventure and local mountain-town charm. Being close to Steam Mill Brewing, Sunday River Brewing Company, and the legendary Matterhorn Ski Bar is a huge bonus after a day on the slopes, hiking trails, golf course, or mountain bike trails.
We found this property in 2022 and immediately knew it would be the perfect place to enjoy skiing, hiking at Grafton Notch State Park, exploring the White Mountains, mountain biking, golf, and everything else that makes western Maine such an incredible destination. When we are not hosting guests, we enjoy spending time here ourselves with family and friends along with our son.
