This was such a lovely place to stay for the weekend! We were able to see old friends and spend time altogether in the living room areas, and we got to have a bonfire! Everything was clean, we had a couple of questions and all of those were answered, and the place had everything we needed!

We did not have pets. The house was clean and the hosts were friendly and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is not really walking distance to campus, but otherwise the house was perfect.

The stay was amazing. This is the second time we stayed. He always lets us check in early and everything is clean. He is also very easy to communicate with. We will be using this house again.

Front porch rails were in poor condition. The right hand stairwell completely fell off the first evening.Management was extremely unreasonable with check out. Due to the fact, I did not catch his text message to allow cleaning crew at at exactly checkout time in turn. They called the police on me and said we were trespassing.And I really considered wanting to rent the place for homecoming 2026 charging an extra hundred dollars which I paid. No problem he also made good use of the insurance plan I utilized as well. Roll your Dice on this one. And yes, I am an alumni of Western Michigan University.

The front porch rails were in perfect condition before Dales stay. Unfortunately it was broken because there were multiple unauthorized guests misusing the property. Dale booked for 2 guests but proceeded to throw an enormous party disrupting the neighborhood and breaking more than just the handrail. Quiet hours were completely ignored, and multiple house rules were broken as well. Dale stayed an hour and half after checkout and ignored messages. After zero response and multiple call attempts from VRBO, the police were contacted to escort Dale and the remaining unauthorized guests off of the property.

We had a great time staying in this historic Vine neighborhood home to attend Kalamazoo College homecoming. The house had some lovely touches like snacks and a basket of toiletries that helped to make our stay that much more comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and the street was very quiet and safe. We had a nice time walking to get bagels in the morning and it was excellent to be able to have our dog along for the trip. Nate, the host, was exceptional with his communication and even offered early check-in and late check-out. I would certainly recommend this property!

Great home, decent location

The host was wonderful and very responsive throughout our stay - the house was clean and cozy. All in all a pretty good trip - the only issue we had was a small bit of ruckus one of our nights but nothing that was unexpected for staying downtown. Otherwise distance to the heart of the city and things to do in the area was great and would definitely recommend for a quick trip to Kalamazoo.

Perfect Family House in Kalamazoo

This house was perfect for our family. The location, amenities and everything worked out beautifully for our soccer tournament weekend. When we go back for this tournament in the future, I will be checking this home first.

Weekend stay at the Vine in downtown Kalamazoo

The property was nicely decorated with a friendly, family feeling. Had a great backyard with a fire pit to just kick back and relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was a nice size. The dining room was decorated with a lot of greenery with an inviting outdoor feeling. My family and I had a relaxing, beautiful weekend! Would definitely recommend this property!

The property was just as listed. We really appreciated the instruction folder with additional listing of things to do and events to take in. The location of this property is great. You can take an elevator to the Cosmopolitan Casino. The room was a little dated however it has amenities that are not offered in casino hotel rooms such as a coffee maker, full size fridge, and a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cost was very reasonable and the property manager was very responsive and helpful. Also, there is a pool, gym, hot tub, and dry sauna which are included with the rental and we're not very busy at all. This is a great feature because casino hotels often charge for these services or there are no available chairs and the pool is usually packed. Overall, this is a great option if your looking to stay on the strip but with all the conveniences of an apartment/condo.

Most helpful host ever!

We stayed here for a marathon so I asked if we could check out late. That wasn't a problem at all, and early check-in was even offered. We had everything we needed during the stay (except coffee. There was a coffee machine and filters, but we didn't see any coffee and had to get up at 5 am so we didn't have time to fuss with it). I especially loved all the toiletries in the shower. Kitchen also appeared stocked, though we didn't really need to use anything. It was a very short drive downtown; Easy to get to restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
