The Mill Rose Garden Cottage- come stay in a peaceful garden setting, situated just 2 blocks off the heart of the historic Old Town district of Half Moon Bay with easy walkability to award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, galleries, farmers market, festivals and so much more! It is also a short bike ride or slightly longer walk (1 flat mile) to the pristine beaches and coastal trail where you can ride or walk south towards the Ritz or north towards Pillar Point Harbor/Mavericks. We offer electric bike rentals to make this a pleasant and leisurely experience. After your daily coastal adventures, relax in the brand new (Oct 2022) hot tub and/or head downtown for a drink and/or appetizers, or enjoy an afternoon tea in the front garden and make your own appetizers in our well-stocked kitchen. No parking problems, we have plenty of street parking.

My family and I enjoyed spending time together at this lovely home. The home had many amenities including the fire pit and hot tub. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa sleeper. The home is very close to town and a litlle over a mile to to the nearest beach The host was communicative and the response time was impressive. I would definitely considering staying here, again

Highly recommend this property. Is ideal for a couple or a couple with 1-2 young children. Walking distance to old town Half Moon Bay. There is a nice market very close by and gas station. Many restaurants to choose from. Property is across the street from a school/church. Nice and quiet area. Can't wait to come back. We are repeat customers of this property. There is a hot tub, but was not working properly. Love, love this property.

terrific location of cozy retreat
fantastic location - 2 blocks to the main street festivities that half moon bay offers... fully stocked rental and very comfortable beds!

Perfect place to stay
Our Half Moon Bay stay was just what we had hoped and this cottage helped make it just right. Very clean with everything we needed and a very easy walk to town or down to the ocean.

Great Location!
The house was so cute and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit very much! This property is so close to Main St it was great to walk into town many times during our stay.

This house was charming, quiet, and so convenient to downtown Half Moon Bay. The bed was so comfortable and the hot tub was a special treat. When we told the property manager that our dog was uncomfortable with the lack of rugs on slippery floors, two new rugs were delivered to the house in an hour! We would love to stay here again.

Cute cottage and prime location
The cottage was pretty clean and comfortable with plenty of room for your belongings. Very short walk to Main St.

Wonderful cottage
The cottage was so cozy and charming, especially since we were there during an atmospheric river. The furnishings have an old world feel and it is perfectly located a few blocks from downtown.

Wonderful stay

Great little home in a great little town
The house was clean, well decorated and comfortable. It is very close to all the shops and restaurants, as well as close to beaches and trails! We had a lovely time.

Fantastic spot to use as a home base for San Fran
We had a ball! Great place to stay super-clean. Bright space with lots of windows. Wonderful location for Half Moon Bay and also to use as a home base for other areas of San Francisco and surrounding cities.

A nice break in our routine
Enjoyed our stay in Half Moon Bay. The cottage is in a great location for shopping, restaurants, and walking. The property is well maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It will be our first choice on our next trip to Half Moon Bay.

1st time doing a VRBO and it was a very pleasant experience. No issues with the reservation or check in/out. The property is very close to downtown so we were able to walk everywhere. If you are a city girl like me, be prepared for how quiet things are and maybe bring a white noise machine if you need some noise. It is a cabin so not the vibe if you want updated/modern digs but very cute and loved the vintage feel. Would recommend!

Half Moon Bay Getaway
Beautiful house and close to everything.
We loved the hot tub during the chilly evenings. Make sure and go for a bike ride on the coastal trail!

Taking a break iin Half Moon Bay
We had a great time visiting the beach and staying in the cottage. We especially liked using the barbecue and the hot tub. The owner has done very nice job of making us feel welcome and setting the place up for a relaxing visit.
