Reconnect with yourself in nature at this unforgettable rest-scape. At Selah.Place, you won`t be far from local shopping, 4 area lakes with recreation and a short drive over to Dallas or Tyler.

You will have your own private casita, patio deck and fireside seating. Parking is available at your casita. You will have access to walk the nature trail around the water front. If you like to to fish or sit by the water, you will find peace in this space as well.

Check in will be at 4pm. You will receive a door code promptly at 4pm. The code will be the last 4 digits of your AirBnB phone number unless otherwise notified. You will have all access in your Casita until 10am the day of checkout.

It`s very likely we will not be present, but please feel free to reach out to us should you have any needs. We want you to have as much space as you need to find `Selah.`

This a beautiful place in the country filled with peace and tranquillity. There is a great country road we are connected to that has no outlet, so it’s great for walks.

There will be firewood available on site for the fire pit out front of the Casita. You might be sure to bring you a lighter and fire starter to light the wood.
NO NOISE Policy between 9pm and 8am. If other guests in near by Casitas complain, there will be 1 request for silence and the next infraction will result in an immediate removal from the property. Please NO SHOES worn in the Casita. There will be a shoe tray available for you inside. We recommend you have a set of house shoes for your convenience. Also, please keep the entrance doors closed during extreme temperatures for a more comfortable stay. NO SMOKING around the front doors or inside the house. If there is a smell of smoke in the house, there will be an additional $150 charge. Please do not leave any loose trash outside of the home. Kindly place all trash from inside and out in the GREEN DUMPSTER as you leave the property. If trash has to be collected inside or outside of the home after your checkout time, there will be a $50 charge. . Also, please I wash any dishes you use and place them on a washcloth on the kitchen counter. There will be an additional $25 cleaning fee for dirty dishes left behind. NO PETS our allowed in this Casita. We do have others that provide this option when they are available. This is due for the sake of other who have pet allergies and can`t stay in a Casita where pets have been. If there is a pet found to have been in this Casita there will be a $500 additional charge for deep cleaning.

Tristen should be awarded employee of the month. Nathan the owner should be removed from Vrbo. My husband booked The Oak Casita for our 8 yr old daughters birthday. Here she and I would be Glamping for 2 nights in celebration of her. The temp was below freezing and there wasn’t any HOT WATER! Nathan hired a Property Management company and maintenance man Tristen came out several times to turn on the hot water heater. Nathan was contacted by Vrbo about the problem and his response was to have me go outside, at night in the freezing cold and flip the switch ( this was not a tankless water heater). We paid for glamping not camping! I had to boil several kettles of water to wipe myself and my daughter off each night and morning. With Vrbo the basic need of HOT WATER is met, and apart of the contract. Nathan failed to try ie make additional efforts within his control as owner to meet this need. Nathan may not be the owner of all of the (6 or 8) cabins on site at Selah Place and if that is the case I would recommend other cabins at Selah Place. The property management team decorated the cabin with Happy Birthday signs, candy and a golden “8”balloon. It was beautiful. The s’mores packages for the fire put outside was delightful and we were.able to make the best of the situation with their gifts of delicious local cupcakes, furry glamping slippers & attention to detail. The small lake is beautiful, and the property is clean and tucked away. I felt safe alone with my daughter here.

Tiny home cottage, comfortable, welcoming, easy to get to .

Day two of our 4 day journey on the motorcycle. The casita was very welcoming. The animals were so sweet, the cat tried to come into the room, and stayed on the front porch but wasn't allowed in. The room was comfortable and easily accessible.
Greeted upon our arrival by these two! And a lovely kitty cat.
Casita Oaks
We did not have access to the loft area, but it looks like it would be very cool.

Spring Get away

Cabins were cute and clean. Beds were very comfortable! Enjoyed a walk around the pond and some sunshine on our front porch!

Place was really cool and clean. Only fault was the ladder to get up stairs was shaky which resulted in me falling into the table and hurting my back
