Oceanfront/Intercoastal Waterway

Start off your day with a fresh cup of coffee at the end of the dock while watching the dolphins swim by or the birds diving on the schools of fish. Bring your boat!! We have a lift that can accommodate up to a 31’ boat for $25 per day plus free parking of your boat trailer. Go fishing or clamming for the day and bring your catch home to cook. We live upstairs and rent out the lower lever. The lower lever consists of over 1,000 square feet and walks out directly to the yard, dock and water. The kitchen is completely equipped with whatever you would need or want for even the gourmet chef. Sip on a glass of wine or enjoy your favorite drink in your choice of lounge chairs on the 1,000 square foot patio taking in all water views this property has to offer. Enjoy your fresh catch of the day in the dining area that seats 6 very comfortably. You will not feel cramped in this open floor plan. The living room has plenty of room to accommodate 6 people. The 2 bedrooms come with king size beds and a very comfortable pull-out bed in the living room. The apartment has both a full bathroom plus an enclosed outdoor shower. You will enjoy complete privacy anywhere on the property. Both Swansboro and Morehead city are 15 minutes away.

Our stay was quiet and calm and we were delighted to have sheets, towels, and amenities provided. A lovely location off the main drag; sound side with a beautiful walk-out pier. Good communication, easy and comfortable.

This place was a slice of heaven on earth. So clean and stocked with everything you could want right down to floss and extra toothbrush. Pauline was so welcoming and her sweet dog Buddy made my day. We felt like family and will return for sure.

This was an amazing VRBO! All the amenities of home in a luxurious setting! Owners were amazing and very friendly! Beautiful location being right on the water. Minutes from great restaurants and groceries. Will definitely stay again! Oh, can't forget the loveable dogs they have! They acted like they had known us forever! It definitely added to a wonderful stay!

Peaceful! That's what I needed and that's what I got. The view is so beautiful and relaxing. The home is nicely decorated and has nearly anything you would need. It has one inside shower and one outside shower. We loved the outdoor shower and chose to shower out there! Host are very friendly and went above and beyond with tips and even shrimp for fishing off of the dock. They have two sweet dogs and even if you are not a dog person, like me, you will like them! There was a smell in the home that smelled like old cigarette smoke to me but owner couldn't smell it and thought maybe it was a grill. I am sensitive to fragrance. Overall great stay!

This stay was amazing! Awesome hosts who gave us fishing advice and let us use some of their gear. Kayaks and bike provided, cozy coastal decor, it was all amazing! We especially enjoyed getting daily visits from buddy and lexi!

A wonderful retreat!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newport. The rental was perfect for our family of four and we just loved visits from Buddy and Lexy. The hosts were so helpful and kind, providing recommendations from restaurants to fishing spots. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Beautiful Home

This property is an excellent place to stay. Over the years we have rented many properties. This is definitely a 5 star. The home is stocked with everything you need for your stay. Buddy and Lexi are a plus and the dock area provides peace and tranquility . If we are back in the area it will be our first choice.

Piece of Heaven on Earth

This is by far the best home we have rented and we all wished we could stay longer! Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Gorgeous views and the dock was such a great place to relax right there on the water. Mike and Pauline were wonderful hosts and share their sweet dogs, Buddy and Lexi Lou, with guests. We will stay again in the future, for sure!

If I could rate it higher I would!!!!!

To say this was the perfect place for my family and I is an understatement! We took a last minute trip for my son's spring break. My son and husband love to fish and wanted a place near the water that was also accessible as my husband has mobility issues. First we will start with the apartment. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and has everything you could ever need for your stay. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get up in the morning. The view from every window was breathtaking! It was our own little private paradise! The location....WOW!!! The dock was perfect for my husband and son. They spent hours fishing and had the most amazing time! The fact that you could come back into the unit to get a bite to eat then continue to fish was amazing! The hospitality....top notch! The hosts were accommodating and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We had the opportunity to meet the owners before we left which was great! They were so welcoming that it felt like we knew them for years. We can't wait to visit again!

Great fishing

We had an amazing time staying there. Everything in the house was perfect. The fishing dock was awesome we caught several fish while there. The owners of the house we really nice and helped any way they could. We will definitely be back.

We are a semi-retired couple. Children are all grown and enjoying their own lives. We enjoy our home and the experiences we have had living in this beautiful area of North Carolina. We want others to see, respect and enjoy what the coastal North Carolina waters have to offer.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

Our motto is "Why walk a beach when you can enjoy the water?" You can only stand to watch so many waves hit the beach but there is never a dull moment when you are on the sound, especially on a boat. The scenery is constantly changing with every turn of the head or turn of the wheel when you are at the helm of your boat. Going in the water is so much more enjoyable. All you have to contend with is a small moving current during the tide. No constant hammering of the ocean waves. We thoroughly enjoy that slow paced water movement and let it take us to our next clamming or fishing spot. Just enjoy swimming around the property. A very gradual increase in depth that makes it both safe and enjoyble to play with small children. The end of the dock (400 feet lont) has only 5 feet of water. Deep enough for your boat yet shallow enough to play.

Spacious rooms. Large under roof patio. Complete privacy. Hard bottom waterfront. (no muck, Hate muck). 2 boat lifts, you choose which one you want. Plenty of parking for you, your guests and your boat trailer. Fire pit, grill, outside shower (we prefer that one over any of the other).
