So glad you enjoyed your stay! We have never had anyone tell us that the house was damp on the inside. The machine you saw was an air purifier for white noise and not a dehumidifier.

The property is easy to get to and walking distance to historic downtown. It was nicely decorated and pleasant on the inside. It is right on cane river as well. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable. The host provided the wealth of information and was quick to answer any questions. She’s extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the community. Highly recommend.

The cottage was very roomy, clean, neighborhood was quiet. Perfect location for walking the heritage downtown homes or shopping. Also right across the Cane River minutes from the main strip to find what ever you may want or need. From fast foods, grocery stores, drug stores, etc. We felt comfortable and safe!
