Cozy Cabin in the Woods with Beautiful Pond Views

Whether you are looking for a place to unwind and relax or a place with many activities to do while enjoying the great outdoors, Horseshoe Acres has it all! There is a newly covered hot tub conveniently located right off the porch to soak and relax while taking in the beautiful pond views. If you are looking for things to keep you busy, there is a privately owned 10 acre fully stocked pond for fishing fun, 2 paddle boats, a jon boat, 3 kayaks and a canoe with 2 docking areas for fun in the water! There is also a playground and sandbox for the kids to enjoy if a family friendly experience is what you are looking for! Also included is a fire ring with firewood fully stocked and ready to go.
There are many local attractions nearby to visit during your stay. Some of these include:
- Racoon Park: Beach access to Lake Erie just a little over 6 miles from the cabin. Not only is there a beautiful beach, but there are also picnic pavilions, restrooms, and a playground.
- Conneaut Creek: Public access just a couple short miles from the cabin for floating, canoeing, or fishing.
- Elk Creek Access: 9 miles away
- Conneaut Township Park: Lake Erie beach access in Conneaut, OH only 11 miles away
- Waldameer Amusement Park: 17 miles away (Not available in cabin)
- Presque Isle State Park: 21 miles away
- Several local restaurants

HOUSE RULES:
By moving forward with the rental process, you are agreeing to abide by the following house rules. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave with no refund.

- No smoking in the cabin or on the porch. Designated smoking area by firepit. Please properly dispose cigarettes. Smoking fee of $250 will be added if rules are not followed.
- No hunting or shooting firearms of any kind on the property.
- No ATVs of any kind permitted on the property.
- No parties of any kind. If you exceed the 10 adult limit, you will be charged $25 per additional person.
- Campers permitted with an additional $50 per night per camper. Must verify with owner for parking arrangements. No hook-ups of any kind provided.
- Tents permitted with an additional $25 per night per tent.
- Basement bilco doors are to remain closed at all times. Emergency exit only.
- No motorized boats/jetskis permitted on pond.
- No vehicle parking on any grass areas.
- A cleaning fee of $125 will be charged if there is excessive cleaning needed after check-out.

The host was very welcoming for our stay. The cabin was clean, the location was perfect for our fishing trip along the creeks for Steelhead trout and the amenities were great to give us things to do at the house after a long day of fishing

THE COZY CABIN WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE FOR OUR 6 FAMILY FISHERMAN. THE POND WAS GREAT FOR RELAXING AFTER STEELHEAD FISHING. BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE AND THE HOT TUB WAS GREAT. A FEW THINGS THAT THE CABIN LACKED WERE CLOSETS AND DRESSERS TO HOLD OUR FAMILY'S CLOTHING FOR 5 NIGHTS AND IT HAD A DINING/KITCHEN TABLE THAT SEATED ONLY 4. IT COULD ALSO USE A BIT MORE KITCHEN SILVERWARE.

This cabin was everything we hoped for. Definitely would love to stay at this paradise again. It is close to the highway so you do hear some road noise but that didnt bother our group. I would highly recommend this location.

Nice peaceful place take friend or family. Lot room park 2 boats vehicles. Cabin is butifal in side out 10 acre lake fish on lot fish . there . Host very nice too help you.

We had a great stay here. Both the kids and adults loved utilizing the pond, hot tub and fire pit. The property also had a playground for the kids. We would love to come back again!

Cozy Cabin

This property was amazing. My husband and I came for a laid back relaxing week with our 5 kids ,and it was exactly what we needed. The communication with the owners was prompt and the cabin was clean. We all spent a majority of our week on the pond ,fishing and floating around in the kayaks and jon boat . We cooked most of our meals over the 2 firepits. The hot tub was an added bonus ,as well as the pool table ,which got alot of use this week. Only left the cabin 2 times the whole week,once to meet up with family and once to check out conneaut lake township park,which was very nice ,but other than that we enjoyed hanging around the property. Will hopefully get a chance to book again !

Amazing property

My family had a great 4th of July weekend stay at the cabin. Just an amazing place for everyone in our family. We could not keep our 8 yr old daughter out of the kayaks - she loved it! We have already booked for next year. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay and property

We had a wonderful time on our stay and enjoyed every moment at the property. Swimming, fishing was excellent in the pond and boating too! Beautiful location, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for day trips to Erie, Ohio and surrounding activities. We would definitely return and stay longer next time.

Relaxing stay

Our family of four stayed at the cabin for two nights on our way to Niagara Falls. The rooms were clean and well stocked, we appreciated the fans in the bedrooms. So many activities - we enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe, sitting in the hot tub in the evenings, and playing pool and darts in the basement. The only downside to the outdoor space is that you can hear the highway due to the close proximity. Ashley was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to our questions.

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

Stay was amazing! Everyone had a great time, the only bad part was only 1 bathroom, but we made it work! Loved it!!

Really beautiful cabin! Very clean, comfortable, easy check-in. Owners were very attentive and helpful. The cabin and property are beautiful! Only complaint is that the cabin is closer to the highway than I realized so you can hear “highway noise” when you’re sitting outside. Very quiet inside the cabin though. Overall it was great! Would come back, again!

Awesome weekend getaway

This property was great! It was close to the streams to fish. On the day that the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed the game area and hot tub on the property. Fishing in the pond was awesome too!

Girlfriend's Birthday

We had a fantastic long weekend stay for my girlfriend's birthday with my brother, sister-in-law, and all our kids. We absolutely loved the place! It was spotless, and check-in was easy and stress-free. The host provided excellent suggestions for activities and sights, making our trip even better. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely rent again!
