Nestled in the heart of Tybee Island, this two-story coastal haven boasts four bedrooms, each with its ensuite bath, providing ample space for relaxation and comfort. The spacious living and dining area exudes an inviting charm, featuring a gourmet kitchen and a delightful wrap-around porch, perfect for unwinding and embracing the coastal breeze.

Upon your arrival, you'll step into the home's second floor, where a spacious open concept awaits, adorned with colorful furnishings and captivating local art throughout, creating an ambiance that epitomizes the island's laid-back spirit. The fully equipped kitchen showcases state-of-the-art appliances, offering plenty of room for preparing mouthwatering meals, delightful snacks, and entertaining evenings with loved ones.

The second-floor houses three inviting bedrooms, thoughtfully designed to enhance your comfort. The peaceful retreat primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a cozy sitting area, and a private bath with a refreshing shower. One of our all time favorite places we have rented through VRBO. It was a perfect blend of 1930's historical charm but with modern updated accommodations. The Screen porch was a perfect place to hang out. The layout with the 3 bedrooms on the main floor was a great layout. The beds were all comfortable. We did not need the 4th bedroom on the lower level which would have felt very disconnected from the rest of the house if anyone needed that extra bedroom, but since we didn't it was perfect for our group. The covered parking was great and the lower level was a great staging and gathering area for our outings., with lots of room for beach gear. The location was great as well, while it was a long walk on the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach, we felt that was a great experience to walk across the dunes, and was close enough that we could easily go back to the house if we needed to for restroom or food, etc, It was also only a 15 min walk to shops and restaurants, which was close enough to walk without being in the middle of the activity, and we didn't have to worry about parking. It was a very quiet street in a perfect spot in the mid beach area. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes but could have used some steak knives and bowls. But overall, we fell in love with the place. I so often am ready to get back home after a week away, but I felt like I could have stayed in this house two more weeks and we were all sad to have to leave it at the end of our week.

We loved the location of the house because it is very close to the beach access. The great room was large enough to accommodate our family of seven. We enjoyed the screened in porch early in the morning and in the late evening. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook meals. It was great having a shower in the laundry room on the bottom level to rinse off from the beach. We enjoyed playing bocce in the beautifully landscaped yard and the trees provided lots of shade. The extra bedroom on the bottom floor was nice but it did not stay as cool as the rest of the house. Overall we loved the house.

Its a newly renovated Tybee beach cottage in every sense of the word, with new bathrooms and new kitchen but retains much of the old charm of a historic cottage found on Tybee. The location could not be better as its just one house away from the beach walk over on 10th street, one of the best beach spots on Tybee. I liked it so much I booked it again before I left for another trip in the Spring. Cannot wait to return!

The property has comfortable furnishings, tasteful decor, and all bedrooms have adjacent bathrooms, which was appreciated by our group of three adult couples. Situated just a 5-minute walk to the Mid-Beach, it is also close to a local grocery store, restaurants, and stores. Staying late April into early May, we enjoyed warm weather, low crowds, and all the amenities of the property, especially the large and comfortable deck for reading, relaxing or meals at its sizable table. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.

Reviewer Comments: My kids, ages 14 and 18, and I stayed at Tenth on Tybee for a week in April and had such a blast. I grew up in Savannah and live now (sadly) in LA and know the Tybee beach at Tenth is one of the best and this house is one house away from the beach crossover. While its location is truly the best, the house itself is a renovated time-capsule with great beds, kitchen and baths all modernized yet retaining the 1930's Tybee charm. Cannot rate this any higher than perfect. We will be back!

Family Getaway

Property was awesome. Wonderful renovation of a traditional Tybee beach house. Everything you need is on site. The large wraparound screened porch was perfect for late afternoon naps. One house off beach access. I did email the property manager, Tybee Cottages, the week before our trip and never got a reply. I ended up chatting online with VRBO and had my question answered. This is only complaint. Would book this house again in a heartbeat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a large, beautifully appointed beach home, one house away from the beach. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and opens to a dining area, living room and the fabulous wraparound screened porch. There is plenty of comfy furniture for hanging out - comfy sofas, tables and chairs inside and out, and wicker outdoor seating, good lighting. The beach was clean, lovely and fairly empty - perfect for a jog, run, or walk. We were using only two bedrooms and there were two more, each with ensuite bathroom, screened windows, ceiling fans and pretty finishes. Drive to and from Savannah and airports is quick and easy. Most restaurants were closed on Tuesday. Loved Salt Island Fish & Beer (the best), Tybean Coffee, Bubba Gumbo, climbed Lighthouse. There's an IGA in walking distance, and many restaurants and bars are fairly close (the more bar crowd places). Def plannning to return!

ProsGood location close to mid-island beach.Top floor was spacious and comfortable with 3 br with 3 baths. Kitchen had been updated with new appliances and well stocked with cookware and utensils.Porch had plenty of seating and space. It had 3 fans but our week was extremely hot which made it difficult to enjoy. However the house stayed cool.Areas for ImprovementVRBO ad was not accurate describing parking for 4 cars and a garage. It didn't have garage doors but gates that required a pad lock to open. Left garage had a note not to open and it was in poor shape. Right garage was full of lumber and gate was not useable. We had 2 cars which barely fit on the driveways. Rental agent stated they never advertised a garage and there was room for 4 cars.2 bedrooms upstairs had lots of flying ants during our stay. We killed 30 the first day.The steps up to the main level needed repair. One landing was considerably lower than the rest potentially causing a bad fall.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, easy walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for our group. The hosts were excellent and very responsive, quickly answering any questions we had and making sure everything went smoothly.The house itself was perfect for a larger group, with plenty of sleeping space and enough full bathrooms that nobody felt crowded or had to wait. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway with plenty of room for family and friends.

Also an easy short walk to the small grocery store on the island. The house itself has been recently renovated and it was perfect for our crew (4 adults, 2 kids). All 4 bedrooms have clean newly updated en suite full bathrooms, so everyone has their own space. The 4th bedroom is on the bottom floor off the carport/breezeway and next to the laundry room, but it's probably ideal for older kids/teenagers. It also came in handy for taking cover during tornado warnings since we were there for Hurricane Helene! I was pleasantly surprised how fully stocked the kitchen was. It has everything you need. Huge wraparound screen porch where we ate a low country boil dinner one night. My only complaints were the dirty/stained rugs in the living room/bedrooms and one of the wicker sofas on the porch was broken and needs replacing. Overall, would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Great family house right near the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was perfect in regards to space. My family, along with my sister's family stayed at the home for a family vacation. Location of the house was great, it is on the beach side so there is no crossing the street to get to the beach. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom right off the garage. My husband took the bedroom off the garage because we didn't want any of the kids down there so if you have more than 2 kids and 4 adults be aware of that as that room is secluded from the rest of the house. The beds were all super comfy and firm. Bathrooms were great as well as the water pressure. All kitchen appliances worked perfectly and there were plenty of plates and glasses to accommodate 2 families. The outdoor porch is fully screened in including the floor to keep bugs from slipping through the cracks between wooden floorboards which was amazing. The only issue we had was finding the lockbox and the fact that the there was a wasp nest near the front stairs. One of the kids as well as my sister's husband was stung going down through the porch.

Great beach house

Our first visit to Tybee was simply AMAZING and it was great due to the great experience we had here. The location was perfect. The house had SO much room to spread out in and the pictures of the covered porch just don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back and would live to stay here again.

Awesome beach cottage at Tybee

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our family's first time on Tybee and we loved it! The house is amazing, with all the amenities we needed but still had that cozy beach cottage vibe. The owners have done a great job renovating this amazing home, from the ship lap walls to the super comfy beds. Our family had 3 generations with us and the house was perfect for all- everything is close enough to walk to, especially the beach access. We loved the huge screened porch and the covered area underneath was perfect for storing and cleaning our fishing and kayaking gear. We would love to come back when the weather is warmer to have more beach time (it was cold and windy in April when we were here) but we still enjoyed hanging out here and taking several day trips into Savannah.
