Embrace the art and culture of the New Orleans lifestyle in this impressively reimagined 1 bedroom home. Recently renovated, this unit is nestled in the historic Uptown neighborhood - Filled with an abundance of day and night life, you and your guests will waste no time wondering what to do first! A carefully curated collection of furnishings, fixtures and accessories, breaths life into a stylish and cozy experience!

Come immerse yourself in the true experience, where white tablecloths still cover two-tops, the waiter knows both your name and your preferences, and sweet smells waft the streets. They’re all on offer, as are the dazzling array of goods that can be found in the locally owned shops on Oak & Maple and Freret & Magazine, or music at Preservation Hall.

This perfectly constructed space features hardwood floors, sun filled windows, stylish upgraded kitchen with island dining, rounded out by high-end furnishings and decor throughout.

This property is beaming with special amenities including large flatscreen SmartTV in the living room, plush linens and bedding in the bedroom, in-unit washer and dryer, private backyard patio, and situated in a well appointed neighborhood!

Please note the the home is one half of a duplex, so you may be able to hear sounds from the neighboring unit if it is occupied at the same time. The home is also located on busy street, so traffic sounds can be heard during the day, but quiet down at night. This is a perfect setting for an individual or couple looking to explore the city! Our home can sleep up to 2 guests. The bedroom configurations are as follows:

Bedroom 1: 1 Queen Bed

The home is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with kitchen essentials, bathroom toiletries, linens and towels for your group.

From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. If you are driving in, there is free parking on the street, but it is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.

**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their airbnb profile.

2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).

3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.

4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.

5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.

6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, Airbnb has specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from Airbnb.

7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.

8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup.

9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.

10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.

11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.

12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.

13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.

14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.

15. Message us for long term stays.

16. Trash day is Friday. Please bring trash can to the curb if you are checking out on a Thursday or Friday, thank you!

17. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.

18. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.

19. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.

20. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved.

21. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee.  This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.

Very easy to find and plentiful parking. It is on a bit of a noisy street and the host is very up front about that. Comfortable bed and great location, walkable to Magazine St.

I was really glad that I chose this place as I have some requirements aka washing machine and kitchen with appliances. Everything what i looked i got it. If you travel alone i recommend it. No crowd noises, bus stop just across the street, waking around just safe and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay in this comfy, quiet duplex. Very large living room and comfortable bed. We didn't cook beyond making coffee and toasting bagels, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We wanted to be out of the chaos of the French Quarter, and this lovely Uptown neighborhood did the trick. Bus stop right across the street to get into town. Bus 11 stops on Canal Street and runs every 30 minutes or so. We had no need for a car. Great shops and restaurants on Magazine Street a half mile away. Lovely Audobon Park a mile away. We would stay here again.

Harmony University

We needed a place to stay for our week of Harmony University at Loyola. This place was ideal! We had a place to relax and get away, if needed, and a comfortable bed and atmosphere. We WILL be everyone who is planning to visit New Orleans about this wonderful convenient space!
