We had an awesome stay at Pura Vida Escape! We renewed our vows on the parkway and this was a great place to come back and relax from the excitement of our adventures. The home was clean and spacious and stocked for all our needs! The views from the porch and the living area are incredible! Loved the privacy and the property grounds!

Beautiful, peaceful, charming, every detail is well thought out and it shows. Communication with the host was friendly and efficient! The binder with all the details was very helpful and it made our stay a delight.

This was an amazing place to stay and relax. If you want a place to unplug this is the place to go. The location was great! Very dog friendly. Is a major plus for us. The host was great at communicating.

Property was very well taken care of newly renovated, with excellent decor. Owner was very responsive. Nice quiet place where my family and enjoyed ourselves and some amazing hiking in the Linville gorge. If your grilling be aware you are in bear country and they may want to come check out what’s for dinner. I would go back in a second.

This shabby chic farmhouse mountain home getaway was so perfect! It was clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. I wish we could have stayed longer and next time we will.

Adorable place on a lovely property

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The house is beautifully decorated, well equipped with games, and located in a lovely gated community with waterfalls alongside the road.

Weekend getaway

Truly enjoyed the thought put into having many different areas of sanctuary to relax and enjoy nature. Very clean place, a lot of little ant visitors in the house….but it is in the mountains after all.

Peaceful Escape

Amazing place, fabulous stay!

I just can't say enough about this place! Everything was immaculate and the hosts were so accommodating. There were so many little details of comfort and thoughtful hosting. 10/10 on everything!

Perfect escape, cozy clean cabin with wonderful views! Very modern and updated which was really nice and did I mention clean?! We would unplug lights over the fire pit at night so we could see more stars, satellites, and we saw a shooting star!! Linville Falls and gorge were beautiful so many places to explore! Communication was great, answered ALL my questions ;) and recommended places to eat. Highly recommend! Thank you!!

Perfect Getaway

Absolutely amazing!! My family and I traveled up from South Georgia for a quick weekend getaway and had the absolute best time! The house was extremely homey, cozy and comfy! 10 out of 10 recommend! Awesome location with a very nice view!

Very clean, thoughtfully decorated home. Well stocked kitchen made cooking easy. Firepit area was enjoyed by all! Beds are comfy. WiFi is a little unstable at times but the cabin is in a more remote mountain area so that was to be expected. Communication with host was quick and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sweet 16

This house was amazing. We loved everything about it. It was very comfortable they had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels. And the little fireplaces were perfect. It was close to where we wanted to go and we had a blast. We love the fire pit we roasted marshmallows and drank hot chocolate. Our only problem was so many girls and only one bathroom lol.

Beautiful House with a Spectacular View

A few friends & I came to Marion to play disc golf at North Cove Leisure Club, which is about 5 minutes from this house. It was exactly what we needed for the weekend. We built a fire and enjoyed the views every evening, cooked on the grill, and got in as much disc golf as possible. House was clean and as advertised. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway. A little far from town, but we stopped at the grocery store on the way in and stocked up for the weekend, so that was no concern. Internet is slow but that was expected with the location, and it was honestly good to get a break from everything. It encouraged us to get outside and enjoy the firepit and views.

The house was cute and away from everybody we did not see a single car until the day we left on our way out the fire pit was amazing our children really had fun making s'mores the grill was the perfect size for our party of six the shade was great the porch was inviting great place for coffee and the grandparents to watch the grandkids make s'mores from up top my dad can't do stairs very well but managed these ok, the pantry was well stocked, the only issue was the AC went out however the owners addressed it quickly and as efficiently as possible very very pleased with our stay highly highly recommend!!!
