Welcome to Paradise

This is a fully remodeled ranch home (1500 Sq. ft. space). Fully furnished with well equipped kitchen for long term stays. There are two living spaces and a dining room. Along with comfy breakfast bar. House is a ranch on .60 acres. Equipped with High Speed WIFI, 2 queen sized beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the 3rd bedroom/living area. The Master bedroom has a walk in closet along with Roku tv with YouTube TV included, sitting area and full bathroom. 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed with a spacious closet, storage and TV. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a hall bath. We provide mid-stay cleanings every two weeks. Washer/Dryer onsite. The layout is a nice floorplan for those looking for a roommate on opposite sides of the kitchen and main living space. For those working from home - we have you covered, our 2nd living area has a full size desk, TV and fast internet. All your kitchen essentials taken care of - toaster oven, microwave, new SS stainless steel range and Full sized refrigerator, Stackable washer/dryer located in the kitchen. Pets found on property will result in a $500 non-refundable pet fee; No smoking permitted on the premises.

This was my second stay here and won’t be my last. We visit Rome a few times a year and this house makes a great landing pad. It’s clean and comfortable and the location works great for us. Street & off street parking. Plenty of room. Zero issues

The layout of the house is great with the master bedroom on one side, and the two other bedrooms on the other side. Even those two bedrooms are separated by a bathroom and down the hall from each other. Off street parking and a hose out back to rinse off our bikes after riding at Jarrods Place all day. Close to everything in town. Host was accommodating and responsive. Would/will definitely stay again. Thanks

Loved our stay!!

My son was graduating from college, and Welcome to Paradise provided us a very comfortable and cozy place to stay. Kimberley is a gracious hostess. We will stay here again when we are in Rome.

Quick weekend.

This house was perfect for a long weekend stay. I have family in Chattooga County, Floyd County, and Polk County, so it was a perfect midpoint location for meeting up with family!

Rome Reunion

Great location. Very close to all eateries and shopping. House was clean and comfortable for all. Great communications with owner. Would highly recommend this option for anyone staying in Rome.

The house was clean and comfortable and served our purpose for the weekend. However, a couple of amenities could be improved. The dishwashing materials were not in great condition and shower materials could be better quality. We also were not left enough towels for our number of travelers. Beds were comfortable and the house overall was quaintly decorated.

Our property maintenance team lives a block away, they are more than happy to stop by to resolve any issues - I did notice you had a larger party stay with you than was booked, however, we could have provided more towels and wash cloths. Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to any property owner when at an AirBnB/VRBO property, to allow them an opportunity to satisfy your needs...we try to ensure our homes meet the same standards /quality of your home we sincerely thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we pray if you return to Rome- you'd definitely come back. All the comforts of home

Really appreciated having a nice clean place to stay will on a trip to Rome, GA. All the comforts of home were taken care of. Did think it was a little rough around the neighborhood but I was very glad they had an alarm system and seem to think of everything. Had communication when we needed from the owner. Overall a great stay!

Cutely decorated house

I think we were the first to stay in this nicely remodeled home. There is plenty of space and all the necessities. A little quirky like uneven floors but we adjusted. I did not see that she disclosed that we were right by a train track so that was a surprise. It went by once or twice at night.

Convenient location in Rome but next to train tracks

Check in and out were easy, and host was friendly and communicative. House is tastefully decorated and bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and functional as promised. Bring your own coffee or pods unless you just like decaf. No dishwasher. Train came through in the middle of the night. Bring a sleep mask and earplugs.

Apologies for the coffee, as I stated when you reached out prior to coming we don't leave "opened" items (like coffee, etc) from guests to guests for sanitation reasons- so I suggested you may want to pickup your favorite coffee prior to coming....it would be hard to have a coffee "everyone" loves! Sorry you didn't feel we met a 4 or 5 star rating for your stay - that is definitely our goal..I made sure to respond and reach out before, during and after your stay.....Thank you again

Comfortable and convenient

The house was tidy and in a convenient location. The master bedroom large with a private bath. Bedroom 2 was smaller with what seemed more like a full size bed than a queen. The 3rd bedroom had a pull out sofa. My sister and her friend were going to stay in that one and brought an air mattress to sleep on instead of the pull out sofa. The living room was comfortable with a coach loveseat and large tv. The kitchen was a nice size with coffee maker, microwave and standard appliances. The eating area had a table with 4 chairs and some barstools at the kitchen island for extra seating. There was plenty of parking for the 3 vehicles that we brought. The host was very kind and understanding especially since we were coming up from Tampa right before hurricane Helene hit. We stayed at the home for 3 days. We were in town for my daughters wedding, so the house worked out perfect for us with location, giving us room to work on wedding crafts and a nice big tv to keep the guys entertained while the ladies worked on other things.

Deceiving/Not accommodating

This house was clean and it served our purpose but welcome to paradise is a deceiving name for this property. I booked this after reading some reviews so I wasn’t shocked when the train came blaring by at 4am. I will say that this house literally almost sits on the tracks so its a 4am wake up call! My main complaints were regarding the air conditioning and the flexibility of the owner on checking in and checking out. We traveled to this area only for my son to play in a baseball tournament. I asked the owner if we could check in the house about 30min early so my son could change into his uniform and we could drop our luggage on the way to our first game and she sent me a price list for early check ins…I’ve never had an owner ask me to pay an extra $100 to check in 30-45 min early so this was a bit shocking! When we got to the house it was about 85 degrees, we had several issues with the air cycling off so the owner came and checked it out(I think mainly because she said she wasn’t able to monitor the cameras on the house)but it still wasn’t cool even after the reset! I was told after we checked out that it was hot because a window in the bathroom was open but we did not open or see that. On our day of checkout we had to pay for an additional night because our game didn’t start until 3 and we weren’t offered the “fee” for a late check out only addtl night. Washing machine is LOUD and doesn’t work well! Seems like it doesn’t rent much so they get all $$ they can when it does.

Hi Lauren, I'm extremely sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We would have done anything to ensure your stay was top notch. Once we heard from you the air wasn't cooling we drove over 2 hours to Rome to ensure there were no issues with the home. Due to your request for us not to come to the home while you were away we made it there as fast as we could. I wish we could have checked the windows for you, to see the bathroom window was up letting in hot air- therefore the home couldn't cool. we immediately found this upon your departure once we were able to come in. Our apologies as well for the early check in /late checkout availability - unfortunately, homes are much different than hotels - hotels have many rooms/more inventory so they can sometimes accommodate those requests at the last minute. With homes you have cleaners, etc lined up or guests scheduled to come so it's hard to approve last minute requests. Again my sincere apologies, we take it to heart if a guest is not happy - safe travels back home.

The value of the property was good, but water pressure was no good. There was no secure lock on front door. There were only four towels for a 2 night stay. Leftover bottled water in the fridge from previous tenants; some which have already been opened. There was no ac vent in the second bedroom, which made it very hot and uncomfortable.The house was nicely decorated and put together, great & safe location. A little extra TLC and I would have given this a 5 star review.
