Beliggende på Palm Island Resort på Floridas sydvestlige gulfkysten. Der findes ingen broer eller kystveje til øen, hvilket sikrer en afslappet tropisk ferieindstilling.

The only drawbacks were the logistics with the ferry and the restaurant wasn’t great. It’s also the only restaurant option on the island and we only received three ferry passes for 6 days. To ride the ferry it was $55 each time. Also an umbrella would have been nice.

Thank you so much for your feedback. When you make a reservation, you get 1-round trip pass on the Car Ferry per day of your stay. We provide half of your passes at check in and the other half upon request. This would have been explained by the Guest Services specialist checking you in at the front office. We understand that sometimes information gets lost when guests arrive outside of business hours and do not check in personally with Guest Services. We value feedback like this so we may continue making the necessary changes to minimize confusions and misinformation. Perfect Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I found Palm Island Resort on VRBO or Airbnb. I ended up booking the property directly through Palm Island Resort. I was looking for a condo or house right on the beach and found it. Our unit had beach views from the living room and master bedroom and it was a super short walk to the beach. We loved this laid back, low key resort. It was so much fun going for a walk or run, exploring the resort, the bay, the beach, everything. Our unit was perfect and had everything we needed. The staff is super nice and helpful. We will definitely come back. The only thing our unit was missing was some basic food pantry items such as salt, pepper, spices. But there was plenty of dished and utensils in the unit. The property was super clean when we checked in. The unit we stayed in, is a little run down. It could use some paint, a few freshen ups, and the ceiling fans need to be cleaned. But I will stay in this unit again.

View was excellent and size of unit was ample. Staff was very helpful and polite. Make sure you bring food as there is only one dining option on the island. Golf cart rental a must....pool is a bit cold although it is heated.

A tropical island only a few hundred feet away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been vacationing at Palm Island for 20 yrs. It is one of the most tranquil places one can visit in the US. The staff is wonderful and amenities are fine. I will say the rentals are adequate. The beach cannot be compared because it is what makes Palm Island so alluring. The rental units are disappearing so get there while you can but please be respectful to the other renters. The walls are thin, the floors are bouncy so every step you take is thunder to those below. And please don’t smoke because all your neighbors have to smell it.

Solitude on the beach and in the "village" area. Bring your groceries and eat in your villa. There is a restaurant that is better for drinks than for food latter is okay, but just okay though the wait staff and service are well above average.

It was also very private. The villa itself was beautiful and had tasteful beach decor. The beds were very comfortable & it had everything we needed. We will definitely request this villa next time. It is the only vacation spot that we actually leave from feeling refreshed, not like we need a vacation from a vacation!
