We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay were unsettling. While we can’t control all neighbor interactions, we do include guidance in our house materials so guests can reach out to us right away if anything feels uncomfortable—we’re always happy to step in and help. Fortunately, issues like the one you described are not common as we haven't had this feedback from prior guests. Regarding the dock, we note in our listing that our pontoon is typically moored there, We’re happy to discuss options with guests ahead of time to help ensure the best setup for swimming, fishing, or boating. We also appreciate your feedback on the exterior deck and will be addressing maintenance updates to keep the space looking its best. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the lower patio—it’s a favorite gathering spot for many guests. As for the layout, the sloped access to the lake and the interior stairs are characteristic of many lakefront properties in this area. We do our best to describe and provide pictures of these features clearly in the listing so guests can determine if the property is a good fit for their group.
