Turen til Whistler Village tager ca. 7-10 minutter til fods, men der kommer en bybuss hvert 7. minut om vinteren og hvert 15. minut i løbet af de andre måneder. Busstoppestedet ligger kun en kort gåtur fra lobbyen.

Family Ski Trip

Greystone Lodge is a lovely location. The ski lockers were amazing as was the proximity to the slopes! The space was a bit smaller than expected but worked well for 3 adults and a 5 year old.

Cozy Condo in Whistler

The 2 bed/2 bath condo was a nice size for our family and separated by the living room, so there was a bit more privacy. Within walking and biking distance to the town. The unit included a washer/dryer, portable a/c and a bike storage area in the garage. I would have liked to see a few more pieces of artwork, as the walls seemed a bit bare.

Great for skiing Blackcomb

The condo was spacious for our family and the beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed which isn't always the case. It's an easy walk out to the trail to ski down to the Gondola in the morning. Washer & dryer were helpful as was the boot dryer that was there (though I don't know that it was listed as included). We have stayed at Greystone Lodge before and love staying there for it's location.

Greystone 226

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation! Love the proximity to the mountain and keeping the skis downstairs in lockers (though very small). Everything worked out well for all seven of us. We swam every day, hot tub, very small--strongly recommend updating the pool area (an owner mentioned the plans were in the works). We did, however have a couple minor complaints with regards to cleanliness. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there were crumbs all over the mattress and inside of couch. We took a vacuum to clean them because there were so many. In addition, a few of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty (old, dried food stuck to them). In addition, the shower stall had a funny drain tile that, when not placed properly, caused the shower to fill up instead of drain. We managed all of these problems ourselves as it was just easier than bothering management.

Nice unit, smaller than expected but still comfortable

Reviewer Comments: The unit is made to look significantly larger than it is in the pictures online - the main room is nice but pretty cramped and for some strange reason the master has two beds but the second room has a split king? The split King was not comfortable for two tall adults, and we couldn't figure out who would use the master with two was a bit strange. There have been updates to the unit, so the kitchen and bathrooms are quite clean and lovely, but we did have a broken door in the master bedroom that was never fixed and the curtains in the master kept coming off of their rails. The property was also further away from the village than we had thought, and up a steep hill, so walking to and from was a bit of a chore, especially as we had small children with us. We ended up just driving to the village each time we went. Overall, we would give this unit a solid B grade for the price point, which was less than other closer, larger units we considered. We were on the first floor in front of a grassy area so our 6 year old loved running around and there is a warm pool and hot tub that were relaxing and fun.

Wonderful stay at Greystone

Reviewer Comments: My kids, grandkids, partner and I came to Greystone for the May long weekend and had a wonderful time. We had 3 units, 226 a 2 berm, 221, a 2 bedroom and 229, a one bedroom. This was ample room for us all and we found the units in great shape, we’ll stocked and comfy beds. Beautiful location above the Village. Walkable but far enough removed that it was peaceful. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. All around a good experience for all. We’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful. Unit 226 was beautiful and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked and the Robes were appreciated for walk to pool. Never used pool but kids were happy with them. Hot tub looked a little too cozy for me. To better improve our experience- the equipment locker was very samll for the seven people that needed to use it and a hassle with the pad lock in addition to memorizing the 6 digit room code and room number to access pool and room. Washer and dryer didn't work properly but boot dryers were appreciated.Also- it would be helpful if the building was better marked from the slope.

2 week Whistler Accom review - visitors from NZ

Reviewer Comments: We received a 2 bed apartment for our family (kids now too big for a 1-bed) - this worked really really well, with separate rooms, bathrooms and even TV. The layout worked, issues like the heating stopping, were sorted very quickly and professionally. One one complaint was that neighbours (ie above) did not have any consideration for any other guests, for the time of day they herded their elephants, whether they walked around the apmt in their ski boots or not at 7am.. .outside of our (and I believe Acers') immediate power but it did impact the overall experience. Proximity to slopes = excellent, facilities, pool , spa = excellent, assistance and info at front desk = very good. Getting booked and sorted early, and knowing things were sorted ahead of time = very good.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great vacation but generally disappointed with apartment at Greystone. Had water leak that wet carpets, inconvenience of water switched on/off for a couple of days and then shared the apartment with an industrial de-humidifer for remaining week. Having spent over $8,000 this is a bit disappointing. Mgt company did provide a $100 gift voucher but not material in terms of inconvenience suffered. They also allowed us to check out 2 hours late then proceeded to lock us out of the room and go out for lunch. Both of the telephone numbers on reception diverted to the empty office behind reception so spent 30 minutes looking for someone to let us back into the room. Not the service I was expecting.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. It is unfortunate that your stay was inconvenienced by the failure of the PRV valve that controls the water pressure to the building. The entire maintenance team and front desk worked long hours to reduce the impact on all guests during this infrastructure failure. The area in the unit affected was a low use area as there are two entrances and we had a restoration company in within 24 hours of the event to provide a drying device. With many units affected we feel that the gift cards and the speed at which we dealt with the inconvenience was adequate. The desk is occupied from 9am -6pm daily with one lunch hour where no one is there. We provide all guests with a 24 hour number in case of emergency as well which was never used. As soon as we found that your call was unanswered we addressed the leak issue with the hot water tank. We were happy to provide a late check-out, however, there is a late check-out code required that was never communicated. Greystone Lodge Unit 226 Dec 2017 Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Extremely detailed email sent prior to our arrival that made arrival a breeze. The unit was clean, comfortable, and had every kitchen item we needed to cook lunch and breakfast for our family of 7. We probably could've used an extra washcloth or 2, but honestly, I didn't ask for them either, so all is good. There were plenty of towels and blankets. Location was great for our needs. The washer and drier in unit were a fantastic help. Description was accurate and helpful in choosing the unit. We would recommend this unit to friends/family.

Great experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great trip and unit. Originally booked another unit but it had subsequently been sold. Acer Vacations quickly found other unit for us. Great location as it away from village (quiet) but close enough you can easily walk to base of blackcomb. No central A.C. but has a portable A.C. and a number of fans. Didn't bother us much as we weren't in the unit very much.

Three Night Get Away

Reviewer Comments: Pro's - Location was good as far as 4 minutes to upper viliage and 15 to central (walking) Roomy and good kitchen facilities, sufficient towels Con's - not enough soap and nor shampoo's; no private BBQ, central bbq was dirty;

Thanks for the review. We will talk to our maintenance staff regarding the BBQ. Housekeeping provides one round of soap and shampoo (hotel style) for short stays. As Greystone is not a hotel, amenities like soap and shampoo are offered only at the beginning of the stay. That said if you come to the desk we can offer you extra on request. Great Condo and Location

Whistler / Blackcomb April 2017
