Great Views !!

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay nice and quiet and very connected to nature. The views of the Pitons and Ocean were great.

Fantastic views

While it is a little challenging to get to Cashew Villa, you will be well rewarded with the peacefulness of the setting and the amazing views.

Spectacular View and best snorkeling minutes away.

Being an experienced and confident driver is a requirement to get to Cashew Villa by rental car. Arrived to stunning views of the Pitons and the Caribbean and immediately took advantage of a lovely pool. Kitchen could use updating and clearing out of over food from previous guests.

Unforgettable views

We loved everything about the property except the road to get there. Views were un matched. The pool was amazing. Air conditioning was the only thing we missed.

Stunning views

Beautiful views and great pool. Peaceful. Definitely need a 4 wheel drive to get to the house. Wish we had a/c. As long as you have a couple of fans in each room it is fine. Cools down a little at night with the fans on. One of the most beautiful views on the island! We hated to leave!

Beautiful view of the pitons

Unreal view of the Pitons and ocean with a great pool. Is a short drive to Jade Mountain and Anne Chastenet.Road up to the villa is definitely very steep and bumpy and an experience, would recommend an SUV.Berthia's cooking is fantastic, would highly recommend. Nestor is great watching over the house and cleaning the pool and landscape.Wish we could have stayed for a couple weeks!! Hosts were great and easy to work with.

Peace and Beauty

We stayed in three different houses in St. Lucia and this was by far my favorite! The view is unmatched, the pool and outdoor spaces are amazing, and Berthia and Nestor made our time there extra special. If I could do it over again, I'd have stayed with them longer. Thank you Berthia & Nestor!

Berthia AND LESTER WERE VERY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL! It was nice to meet them. We now know how to roast cashews!

Cashew Villa

Our stay at Cashew Villa was excellent. We were there for a week. The view is breath taking as stated by the host. We were there when hurricane Beryl came through and the host, groundskeeper (Nestor), and housekeeper (Berthia) made sure we were safe and taken care of. The road to the house is steep but you get used to it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again!

Paradise

A beautiful and very private villa perched on the top of a hillside with what must be the BEST view on the island! We loved everything about this rental villa! Nice flow to the house, great outdoor living areas, the pool was wonderful and refreshing in the heat, the gardens around the villa are mature, unique and filled with friendly birds and at the heart of it all was that amazing Cashew tree! Berthia and Nestor were both helpful and kind and my husband is still raving about how good Berthias Creole fish and broth was!

Location

The views of the Caribbean sea and the magnificent Pitons was wonderful. We loved the house and outdoor spaces especially the pool which was meticulously maintained by Nester. Berthia thought of everything to ensure our comfort and was able to provide local insight (where to shop, dine, sightsee). The road to the house is indeed steep but the scare factor goes down each time and important to take it slow and easy. Thank you for the warm hospitality Saint Lucia.

Gorgeous View

What an incredible location! Grilling a steak on the charcoal bbq overlooking the Pitons during sunset is a great memory. Berthia is very helpful organizing taxis, cooking a delicious creole chicken dinner, or whatever you need. Nestor, the night security guy, roasted us fresh cashews from the cashew tree, and got us a ripe papaya off that tree. It’s a slow, bumpy ride up to this high perch but definitely worth it. Very close to scuba diving with Scuba St Lucia at Anse Chastenet. Close to the Pitons if you want to hike them. We did and it was a real workout but another beautiful view.

One of the Best villa in st Lucia

Pictures can’t describe how beautiful is the view in real life. Our family of 5 went there mid February for a week and the villa had everything that we needed. Kids had a blast at the pool meanwhile me and my husband were enjoying the sunsets. There was Berthia that cooked for us delicious food twice (she was so sweet and nice). And Nestor security ,that made us feel so safe at the house (kids loved him so much) he was so friendly. The only thing that you will need is a 4x4 car. The roads were so rough and tight but for us that was very fun adventure. For sure I will go back again.

Perfect!

We had the best time, the view is magical. We loved waking up and sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and watching the boats. We ventured off to a few local beaches, Anse Mamin being our favorite. We also went to a few local restaurants and tourist attractions, but always couldn't wait to get back to the house. The pool and lounge chairs is where we spent the majority of our time. Berthia and Nestor are so lovely and helpful, they made our stay stress free. The road up to the house is an adventure, but truly worth it. Our only complaint is that they had to leave!

Husband and Wife Vacation

Beautiful area. Wonderful accomodations. Art inside of house from the family noticed and a beautiful touch. We enjoyed many majical sunsets. Went for the diving and will most definitely remember the house. Would have been special for full family as 2 additional bedrooms downstairs went unused...next time. Would 100% recommend a dinner from Berthia. Cooked a wonderful meal for husband's birthday. We had enough lftovers for the week!! Nestor was there for security and we felt 100% at home. Been to many VRBO homes ans this one surpassed our expectations! Will be back.

Amazing Piton views

We had a wonderful stay at Cashew Villa.The views were second to none. The pool was the perfect temp. The linens were soft. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Berthia was lovely. She cooked an amazing meal that lasted for days and gave us advice on where to visit. She kept the house very clean. Hector also was lovely and a friendly face to come "home" to. The road was steep but manageable. As mentioned in other reviews it was 80 degrees at night which is a little out of my comfort zone for sleeping but the fans made it mostly bearable. Overall it was an amazing stay and I highly recommend it!

Just wonderful

Amazing place, we loved it. Very private and so beautiful. The pool was nice and cool and the view!!!!! Amazing. Only thing I wished I knew ahead of time was that there’s no ac. It was still comfortable but we did get too hot a couple of nights. Also, be sure to rent a 4x4 to get up the road. We rented a Suzuki Jimmy which was perfect. Wonderful host. Nesto the guard cooked us fresh cashews, and Berthia the house keeper cooked a really nice meal the first day and we snacked on leftovers most of the week. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back if we visit st Lucia again.

Cashew villa

Excellent stay for some of the best views of the Pitons with privacy. Accommodations were good. Nestor (Security) and Berthia (interior house help) were just a phone call away if things were needed. A few things you’ll need to get used to:1) The road to the resort is steep at times and rough but drivable, slowly! Highly recommend renting a 4 wheel drive vehicle but not 100% necessary. Obviously you can rent taxi's, but we chose to come and go and see the island on our own. Ther's no air conditioning at the house but they do have 3 floor fans that help. We do recommend this VRBO. The views of the Pitons along with a private and peaceful setting was amazing!

Chilla Villa

If you want to be away from everyone, this is your spot. Nice seclusion, beautiful views, and very quiet. The two mile drive up is very bumpy and steep. 4wd is very helpful if not required on rainy days . Views are top shelf and the pool is perfect. If you like rugged and a bit remote, pick it! Only a mile or so down the road to a beautiful beach . Berthia , the housekeeper is very helpful and been working at the villa for thirty years! Great spot overall to stay in St. Lucia ! Make sure if you go to also check out the treetop restaurant. Another must for over the top views . FYI, major hotel rates are much more expensive . I feel the value we received was outstanding .

5 Stars – Unforgettable Stay at Cashew Villa!

We stayed at Cashew Villa from April 12–19, and it was nothing short of magical. The villa has the best views of the Pitons on the entire island — absolutely breathtaking! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.A true highlight of our trip was the incredible house manager, Berthia. She was an absolute gem — warm, attentive, and so helpful. She prepared a couple of meals for us (for an extra charge), and they were delicious, some of the best food we had on the island. Berthia also helped coordinate transportation and made everything so seamless. She truly made our experience extra special.The private pool was pristine and perfectly positioned to soak in those iconic Piton views. Communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish. They even arranged airport transportation for us, which made arrival a breeze.Cashew Villa exceeded every expectation, and we would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in St. Lucia!

Absolutely phenomenal views and would stay again!

The view was absolutely breathtaking as we watched most sunsets from the villa with our Piton beer or glass of wine in hand. Berthia provided a St Lucian meal that tasted wonderful lasting several days for the two of us, and she was very pleasant and helpful. Nestor provided us several useful tips and was very nice to answer some of our questions about our planned activities. The villa had EVERYTHING we needed for our stay (we traveled light with two carry-on bags) including beach towels, towels for the local mud bath, games, binoculars, all kitchen gear, etc., and the refreshing pool was a plus! We rented a 4WD Suzuki Jimmy for our adventurous trips to handle the hills, curves, and rocky St. Lucia roads. We highly recommend staying! Thank you for sharing Cashew Villa which gave us great memories of St. Lucia! Again, Berthia and Nestor, thank you for everything you did for us during our stay, greatly appreciated! Incredible place to stay!

An absolute gem of a place in a beautiful part of St Lucia, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This is incredibly close to the beautiful Anse Chastanet beach where you can pre-book beach chairs and food. The sealife here is absolutely stunning with schools of fish, turtles, eels and a variety sea life, this was the highlight of our trip! SOME TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR STAY 1. You absolutely must have a 4x4 in low gear mode to access the villa. The road to the villa is incredibly steep (30+ degrees) and a regular car will not make it up the hill. It certainly is an adventure! 2. The villa is nestled high up the mountain and there are plenty of bugs around. We found it was best to have plenty of mosquito coils for outside, keep all the windows and doors closed after dark and to spray the whole house to catch any stray mosquitos before dark. With the above in mind, the villa is incredible and the clarity of the sky and stars at night is out of this world. We would highly recommend this place.
