This property was perfect for my bachelorette party! We were the perfect distance from the Fort Worth Stockyards and were amazed with the communication from the host throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Christmas at the Stockyards

Host was very responsive, the house was okay, clean. Nice location, but this is a duplex so you have neighbors on the other side of the wall. There was a party next door the first night and it was very loud, then there were dogs barking all night, so bring earplugs. We contacted the host and they said they would take care of it and ask them to adhere to the quiet hours.

Bedrooms clean, yes. Kitchen was ok, but dishwasher front was dirty. Coffee cups needed washing before we used them.Bathroom cleans, but first level bathroom needs a tile fixed. It has separated about an inch and is a trip hazard.Another trip hazard is by the back door. The one section of the wood blank is higher than the rest of the floor.Two of the smoke detectors were missing. The downstairs bedroom and the in hallway outside the bedroom.

Great place and close to the Stockyards.

The property was nice and clean. The neighborhood was older but quiet. Didn’t know it was a duplex until I got check in info, but wasn’t a big deal. I would stay there again for sure!

Perfect little getaway

The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! We absolutely loved how cute and cozy it was and the amenities were fantastic. If you’re looking for a good place to stay close to all the ft worth action, this is it. Felt like coming home!

Short drive to stockyards

This place was perfect for a short drive to the stockyards and duckies arena. It was also clean, they provided us with extra bathroom essentials, and the check in/out process was easy. Would recommend a doormat at the back door to wipe our shoes before entering to help keep floors clean.

So I own a small business and know the importance of reviews so with that. My overall ratimg ks a 5 star. Now my online experience and communication was excellent. Location was also great. Now only worried spot was pulling up. The outside is dated. I was wrong. Its beautiful inside and worth the money. Now like other reviews you share back of house parking with other half of house. We had a great experience with that. We all introduced ourselves and worked with each other. I would stay again and recommend this lister in the future.

Review

Only a few issues. It wasn't a 15 min walk to stockyards as they had said. You look it up on MapQuest it clearly says 30 min. Also you can hear the other tenants in the house walls are thin.

Quaint stay, memories made in bonfire area were the best.

The property upgrades helped to facilitate a good stay. Colder downstairs and warmer up. Heard the neighbors from the other unit a bit. WiFi we had to dig for as what was provided did not work. Otherwise it fit our needs, was roomy for our group and the large couch added to providing a good area for gathering. Stairs might be better safer with carpet. Great appliances and all was self-sufficient for a one-night stay over. We would consider going back in the future. Dr. Carla

Duplex

Should relay that this is a duplex and other renters had 7 cars parked and we had no parking. Should have had 3 spots but other renters used them all. House was beautiful and clean, just need to relay to people it is not private and no parking.

True hidden gem

We had booked a VRBO several months ago that ended up being cancelled the week of our visit due to indoor flooding. Found this gem that was closer to where our son lived! It was perfect! The price was also right! Entry was easy, plenty of covered parking behind the duplex house. We were met with plenty of coffee, bottled water, and amazing goody bags! Communication was great and the hosts were easily reached. The space is nicely updated and clean. It was far superior and cheaper than a hotel. Fully supplied to cook meals! Easy check out tasks. Without hesitation we would stay at this True gem for future travels!

— Read the fine print before you book; the listing doesn’t tell the whole storyListed as a house, but it’s one side of a duplex/townhouse with shared walls. It still shows up when you search “houses,” so know what you’re actually getting. The most important details are buried at the very bottom of the page — below the photos and reviews — and several of them contradict what the main listing implies.If you’re traveling with pets, pay attention. The “backyard” is a roughly 10x10 patch of grass shared with the unit next door, fronting a large parking lot. It’s fenced on three sides but open at the front — no gate, no way to contain a dog. Bring a leash or tie-out; you cannot let a dog out unsupervised here. The listing says “pet-friendly, 3 pets,” but only the first pet is actually included — the per-pet fees show up only in the paperwork after you book.The walls are thin. Our neighbors partied well past the posted 10 PM quiet hours, and we couldn’t reach anyone at Top Tier Estates who would intervene. You can knock on the neighbors’ door, but if they don’t cooperate, you’re stuck — we lost our entire first night of sleep. The A/C also kept resetting itself to 80 and took effort to get fixed. The downstairs bed is comfortable but extremely loud.To be fair, the property was clean — that’s the one star. But between the misleading listing, the unenforced quiet hours, and the safety issue with the open yard, I can’t recommend it, especially for anyone bringing dogs.

Appreciated that it welcomed our pets, but you could tell as soon as you walked in that the unit smelled like dogs. The unit was cute but needs some upkeep (tile in downstairs bathroom seperating) carpets are worn and look dirty. The backyard entertainment area needs some love, and hardley any grass for our dogs to go and do their business. The area is not fenced in and the neighborhood had several stray dogs, and guest in next door unit would let their pitbull out without a leash and we were so worried since we have miniature dachshunds. The only other complaint is the downstairs bed was so uncomfortable, squeaky, and bouncy that with any movement it would wake me or my husband up. I would also recommend making some of the beds into kings size since the rooms are a good size. The hosts have a very nice link that I used to obtain check-in and check-out instructions, and were very quick in responding to my messages. Overall it was a comfortable stay with the exception of our bed, and other family members who stayed upstairs had no complaints. It is an older home remodeled in a neighborhood that has a mix of new/remolded homes and old homes that need lots of work. Since there are no exterior pictures of the duplex, I was a bit surprised when we arrived after dark. The unit was very close to the Stockyards, TexRail station, Cultural District, and many restaurants.
