Why is pool still listed if broken

When booking I searched for a place with a pool and a balcony with ocean views. I've stayed here in the past so I knew they had a pool. I paid for a penthouse apartment that was said to and had pictures of having a balcony overlooking the ocean and one on the bayside. Immediately upon arrival we noticed that the pool was under construction. Then when checking in we were sent to the bottom level condos. Again knowing the building I wasn't initially disappointed just a little worried about stroller access since there were steps leading down to the hallway. The apartment was beautiful and well maintained on the inside. Nothing at all like the pictures but had everything we needed. There was a second floor balcony and a ground level terrace that had "beach access". Neither of which had any view of the ocean. There was so much over grown brush and palm that was very poorly maintained. Every other ground level terrace had spectacular open views of the ocean. I imagine it was originally statically placed for privacy for the outdoor shower (that didn't work). Now being used as a litter box for the stray cats. The first morning we quickly realized that it wasn't safe to use with the baby after getting whipped in the face with branches, tearing our clothing, and stepping in cat food and droppings. When all I wanted was a pool and a balcony over looking the ocean this made for an overall very disappointing stay. Would've been able to over look one but not both.

Beautiful Condo with Great Location

This is a beautiful property and the location at mid-beach is perfect . The views were beautiful from this end unit and it was very quiet. Due to the floor to ceiling windows the master bedroom was often too hot to sleep comfortably in. Despite this we very much enjoyed our stay at this property.

The stay was amazing, the ocean was only a 2 minute walk and the apartment was amazing. One thing though, that there was a lot of cockroaches. But overall, it was a nice stay and experience!

Great location

Took my family of 6 adults for a Christmas beach vacation. Most important to me when booking was the location and it was exactly what I was looking for, right on the beach. The room is on the 18th floor and is the corner room facing North West with a very nice view of the causeway and city. Sleeping arrangements we’re comfortable and living space was roomy. We didn’t utilize the pool as it looked a little dirty but the beach is wonderful and convenient with access right off the pool area. Traffic is not bad in mid beach but gets more congested in South beach which is about a 15 minute drive. Publix is conveniently located close to the condo. The condo is a little tired appearing and the room could use some updates and new kitchen utensils especially silverware. Kelly the host responded immediately to our questions. The biggest drawback of our stay was the wait and congestion of the elevators- it was very inconvenient with lots of complaints from the other visiting tenants. If you have a car, valet is mandatory and although they are very friendly it can take a while so plan accordingly. Overall we had a nice stay.

Location, location, location

Beautiful penthouse property, gorgeous views, centrally located. Owner was very quick and attentive. Pool was large and not crowded. Beach was perfect! I’m already planning my return to this gorgeous property.

Great views, location and value

We had a great time on our recent family vacation. Place was exactly as described. Only recommendation would be to replace some of the furniture which was a little worn out. Ottoman was very used and headboards in one room beginning to peel. Flooring was beginning to come apart. Loved that we had a washer and dryer in unit. Overall - EXCELLENT!!!

Beautiful location, views, and good access to the beach.

The penthouse property has great views and it is located in a nice and safe area. Access to the beach and swimming pool was extra bonus. Beach supplies were good including towels. Would have been to have some condiments to get started, like salt, pepper, coffee etc.

This was supposed to be a great weekend out for a group of 40+ ladies.

The first night the fire alarm went off we had to run down 17 flights of stairs maybe more, sat in the lobby in our night clothes for about 2 hrs and every time we asked the front desk what was going on they were rude. Was told to go back to the room elevators were working but no power in the rooms. When the power did come back on the air was out so now we’re in pain from the running down the stairs and hot cause we didn’t have air all night and the next day. We thought we contacted management but the lady we spoke to wasn’t she offered us a late checkout for that Sunday due to the problems we were having but our flight was for 6am that Sunday morning so she said she would have management contact us but never heard back.

Amazing property

My friends and I took a weeklong vacation to Miami and stayed at this lovely property. I could not have asked for a better experience. It was well equipped with kitchenware, towels, and all of the necessities. The ocean front pool and the tiki bar were also top-tier. We have already discussed coming back and staying at the same property again. Amazing week & an one of the best VRBOs we have stayed at.

Look it’s a penthouse in Miami Beach, did everything work perfectly? No, but it worked well enough. Never heard the neighbors and they were more strict about the masks so I guess they trying

Vacation with Friends

It was a really nice place - location wasn’t in the action so we had to do a lot of Ubering. The RikiTiki and pool was nice to have right at the place. I recommend this place.

problems at the beach

The apartment itself was terrific. It certainly lived up to our expectations. However, we experienced significant issues with the conduct of other guests and the property's security force. Despite signage throughout the property, virtually no one was wearing masks. An individual without a mask came very close to me and I asked him to put a mask on. His response was, "F*&% you" and spit in my face. This was right in front of security. I asked the security if he had witnessed the incident. He said, "yeah, I did. What do you you want me to do?". In addition, the language and activities of the guests in the lobby, at the pool, and on the beach were uncalled for. We left early (we stayed only one might of a planned 7 night stay) from what had promised to be a very pleasant week. Very unfortunate

WONDERFUL!

The start of our trip was a bit stressful, we had been upgraded to a different apartment but upon arrival we realized it wasn't handicap accessible. one call to Kelly and the problem was fixed. She is an amazing host. The condo was spacious, clean and in good working order. The addition of a cookie sheet or baking pan would be helpful. The views of Miami are amazing. I LOVED this console and would DEFINITELY stay here again. Cant say enough good things about the condo and Kelly.

Over exaggerating

I expected a penthouse with working lights Beautiful floors working bathrooms and big televisions. I got none of this. They said ocean views. I got street views. Only if you look out the master bedroom diagonally did you see the ocean. It would be a nice property if taken care of but it wasn’t. They used beautiful words to describe the property and it wasn’t any of those. I encourage people to look elsewhere if they want an ocean view and not here. I was very disappointed to say the least. Poor lighting fixtures on the balcony missing all made for a poor vacation . Property was mediocre at best and nothing more.

Overall, a good stay

First, the property is larger in real life than the pictures make it out to be. I was pleasantly surprised. It literally is on the beach and you can see the ocean from the master bedroom. Valet parking was both a blessing and a curse - it was nice to not have to worry about parking in Miami but during peak times we waited about 25 minutes to receive our car. Overall, the unit does show signs of age. Don't plan on using the oven - the outside cover has no bolts attaching it to the actual stove, and was on the floor when we walked in. Stovetop worked fine though.

The views offered by this 15 floor penthouse, together with so much to do and in such a perfect climate made them feel this was a great vacation home. While not being used for personal family vacations this is a terrific rental property.
