Amazing house on the beach! Gina & Brad provided a tour once we arrived and the entire week was perfect. The house has everything you need and more like a massage chair, hot tub, hammock, surf boards, chairs and too much to list lol Also, beautiful garden area, fire pit (we had smores with the kids) and so many places to sit out back on the patio and enjoy Mother Nature, ocean and the beachYou can’t get a better location or view!

La Jolla Fun

The property was comfortable, had great views, and had an amazing beach access. We enjoyed are walks on the beach, great weather and the numerous things to do all within walking distance or a short drive. The home was well stocked with everything you need to relax.

Fun & Relaxation at the beach for the entire family

A very comfortable home for the entire family with all the necessary amenities to enjoy a tremendous vacation at the beach. Gina is a great host who makes sure that you have everything you need. The property is "turnkey" with all that is needed to play on the beach, prepare meals, and to just relax and enjoy the incredible views.

Location

House on beach w hot tub, Best wave break I’ve ever seen for children . House has lots of linens, beach towels, surfboards, paddle board, boogey boards. Kitchen everything we needed. 5 block walk to restaurant row, which is one full block of outside dining, nice eateries. This is a family beach town.

Lovely!!!

Better in person than pictures. The linens are luxe!! Beds are so comfortable. Best outfitted kitchen we’ve been in. Best of all - the owners! They bring the spirit of how special this property is. Gina and her husband - truly class act!!

When can we come back?!

This is an incredible property with all the amenities! All age groups were entertained whether spending time at the spacious house with multiple outdoor spaces, or exploring beautiful La Jolla. Daily sunset watching from the hot tub deck was a must for us. Gina took time to make sure we had all the information we needed well before our arrival, and was immediately responsive to the only question that popped up. Highly recommend this property and can't wait to visit again!

A very unique property at a very magical place

As the owner mentions in the description, this is a VERY SPECIAL house. Its location is unmatched. Even though you read about it in the other reviews, you truly appreciate it once you are there. This is the best on-beach property I have stayed at in southern CA with a very impressive set of amenities and a great host who is very pleasant and very easy to communicate with. Had a great time and left with great memories...

Total Relaxation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Jolla Shores! We were a group of 5 ranging from 26 to 90! The house has everything and then some! The adjustable Master King bed slept just as good as ours at home! The others all said their beds were good also! The massage chair was wonderful! The view was wonderful! We saw dolphins almost every day! We all hated to leave! But look forward to returning!

Location, location, location!

You simply cannot get a better location in La Jolla, period. We have been coming to La Jolla for 50 years and have always stayed at The Beach Club but admired the few homes that are located on the Shores. This was perfect for our family and elderly parents. The huge outdoor patio and stair access to the beach kept the entire crew all in one approximate area which made it all the better. We rent several VRBOs a year and I have to say this is one of the best equipped houses ever. From all the beach toys (paddle boards, surf boards, boogie board, beach games, fire pit etc.etc.) to a kitchen with every possible thing you may need for cooking. And, compared to staying down the beach, it was quite reasonable relatively speaking. We will be back!!

Excellent Stay

Wonderful house in a beautiful location on the beach. Great amenities, everything we needed was there. Outdoor patio was terrific. We watched beautiful sunsets every night. Gina was great to deal with - very friendly and responsive. We hope to stay there again.

On the beach

La Jolla shores beach fantastic for swimming, boogie board, surfing. Scenic. House fully equipped from porta crib to wet suits, surf boards. Sit in hot tub looking at ocean. Restaurant row in LJS is 10 minutes walk but we preferred cooking at home w ocean view.

Beautiful Home , Best View of La Jolla

Gina is amazing. She has everything to offer in this beautiful ocean front view location. Our family enjoyed all the ocean toys and mama enjoyed all the little kitchen items you always need! The property grounds are breathtaking, garden area is so beautiful and patio deck is one you will never want to leave . We have visited La Jolla for over ten years and so happy we found Gina’s home. Can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay!

An amazing two weeks in paradise

This trip started off with a very complete review of the property and how to operate everything. Gina was very warm, welcoming and gave us a great orientation. The home is beautiful, the location excellent and our staycation with our children and their families was wonderful. Gina thank your for sharing your home with our family. Luxurious La Jolla Beachfront Family Vacation

We gave our 2 children and their families a trip to San Diego area for Christmas. We stayed at the property for 10 days and enjoyed many of the activities the San Diego area has to offer. The location, home and setting were fabulous! Priceless ocean front view with great views of the coastline to La Jolla and Torrey Pines. Daily Sunsets and watching the surfers from the Patio or UpStairs living areas was fabulous. Easy access to the beach gave us the opportunity to have daily walks on the beach. Short walk to La Jolla Shores for dining and shopping . (We walked to one of the restaurants almost every day!)The property has two great outdoor living areas that we enjoyed during our stay. We utilized all 4 bedrooms with 6 adults and our 18 month old grandson. The home was extremely well equipped and we grilled out or cooked in the up to date kitchen as we loved “hanging out at the house” in the evening after being out sightseeing during the day. Gina was a great host and we would highly recommend this wonderful property.

Gorgeous House in an Amazing Location

We were so impressed with this property to include the house, the grounds, the deck, and the great location. The house was in great condition when we arrived and the owner was very communicative, doing a nice walk-through showing us all the ins and outs. There are tons of toys, games, beach stuff, surf boards, and really anything you need to enjoy the beach and beach activities. We didn't need to bring anything other than clothes, which made the trip so much easier. There is also everything you need in the house and kitchen, to include any appliance you can think of and plenty of dishes and other kitchen accessories. The beach in front of the house is a great surfing beach, has great walkability, and swimming is down the beach about 50 yards. The house is minutes from downtown La Jolla with wonderful restaurants and plenty of options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming again.

Upstairs & downstairs were like two separate houses. Beautiful beach Ocean for surfing only @ this location

Thank you for your review. Yes, in front of the house is "surfing only". Swimming and boogie boarding is allowed to the north and to the south in front of the lifeguard stations.
