Poor communication. The door to the pool does not lock; i had to use a broom stick each time we left and at night. The pots and pans were very overused and old. The coffee pot was rusted so I bought one and left it for the next guest. Worms, bugs and ants.

Perfect for a couple

We loved our stay in this property... Close to several restaurants, golf and beach... The people who run the place are extremely nice and very helpful... Perfect for a couple who want to relax in privacy...

Our romantic birthday getaway turned into a horrible experience.We drove five hours across the island for a romantic birthday surprise for my fiancé. Upon arrival, we noticed ants on the couch, spiders, and an empty can of Raid near the entrance. Early in our stay, we also saw a huge cockroach on the floor and killed it. We were disgusted, but understood we were in a tropical environment and were still willing to stay. Later, while getting ready for bed, we moved the pillows and saw another huge cockroach crawling from underneath them. That was my breaking point. It was after 2 AM. I was horrified and considered sleeping in our car. I laid on the edge of the bed so I could see what was around me while my fiancé positioned himself around me as a barrier because I was afraid of what else might be crawling in the bed.We recorded everything and immediately sent the videos to management. The next morning, their representative offered to fumigate. I declined, booked another property in Cap Cana, checked out, and requested a refund. He said he would speak with his boss and follow up.He never did. Despite previously communicating regularly, management stopped responding, while our VRBO reservation remained active.I also paid 85 for a birthday decoration consisting of a few balloons and a bottle, but that became the least of my concerns.The roach in the bed was horrifying. Management knowing what happened and then ceasing communication was unacceptable and unprofessional.

Lovely villa perfect for two people

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet neighborhood, privacy was great. Communication was good with the host. The bathroom was lovely it did take a bit to get hot water in the shower. It we eventually got it and it was lovely. The pool was the perfect temperature and we like a warmer pool, the outdoor areas were lovely the landscaping gorgeous. I will say the efficiency kitchen could have been better. No ice cube trays we bought some and left them so hopefully the next people can use them. No dish towels or wash cloths. No spices at all not even salt and pepper, no charcoal in the grill. It is definitely not set up like most the places we rent which seem to be move in ready. It is set up more like a hotel with not enough toilet paper or soap. But as long as you know that, and bring your own than it's great. I would definitely stay again I would just bring my own washcloths, towels, and spices from home so I could grill and enjoy the food I cooked there better.
