We have been traveling to Seaside for 16 years. This house was beautifully designed well laid out and the best stocked home I have ever stayed in. I have a family of eight with a lovely chocolate lab and this home was absolutely perfect.

Very well-decorated and cute property. The location is excellent and right in downtown next to shops (bakery, coffee shop, park, etc.) Would recommend to others!

Our family had a lovely time here. It's clean and comfortable and couldn't be more conveniently located. Furnishings and decorations are perfect and the owner was very thoughtful and responsive. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Such a great home, stocked with everything you need. The location is so great. My only suggestion if you are a light sleeper is to bring white noise or use their fans at the home, as the house is older. Our fam really loved the stay and hope to return!

Thank you so much for choosing the Blue Door and for your great feedback! The house is over 100 years old with original shiplap walls, so sound can carry. We currently have white-noise fans in two of the bedrooms and are adding them to the remaining two bedrooms based on your suggestion. Birthday Seaside Fun!

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Door Beach Cottage for our friends and family to come together and celebrate a birthday and be together! Close to the beach, Seaside, Astoria, and so much more. I would recommend bringing your family to this beautiful home!

This place has a cozy costal feel. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach was a beautiful two block walk. We stayed one night on a weekday. Host was super friendly and accommodating when the internet was down.

Thanksgiving in Gearhart

A+ . This house was perfect for our Thanksgiving with family. The house has great spaces for visiting, eating, watching football and sleeping. Overall our stay was very relaxing and the house had everything we needed.

Great Spring Break Getaway

Our family stayed here for a spring break getaway. Quiet little area with great proximity to the beach and downtown Seaside. Experienced a few hiccups during our stay and the Owners responded quickly to remedy the situation. We loved that the home had bikes for everyone’s use and the kids enjoyed the foosball table in the garage. Will definitely look to rent here again in the future

Awesome PNW Trip

This was our first visit to the area and we loved the home. The hosts went to a lot of effort to make sure it has everything you could possibly need. It was clean, comfortable and decorated so cute. We did have an issue and the hosts were quick to respond and help and were absolutely wonderful. We loved the location and amenities and definitely recommend.

Home base for fishing trip

The house was lovely, beds super comfortable and I appreciated all the extra pillows and high quality bedding! Bathrooms were very cramped and small (but clean!) which was difficult for my older parents and my 6’5” husband. Location wonderful, with lots of comforts in the home to make the stay easy. We went salmon fishing up near Astoria and this was a great home base. Would return again on a girls trip for sure.

The Blue Door

This house was great for a week stay with my grandkids. We could walk to the park, tennis courts and beaches. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space and lots of nice touches like movies, games and books. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities as well as special additions like really good coffee and tea. It’s definitely a place I will come back to.

House was perfect - spacious. Kitchen very nicely stocked with any cooking implement, pot, pan or dish that one could possibly need. Location short walk to beach. Very quiet. My check in process was complicated by the code being apparently incorrectly set by the host. However, I was able to reach property owner pretty readily and all was sorted out with in just a few minutes.

Friends annual vaca

What a charming house!! Both inside and outside were lovely and fairly well maintained. The kitchen/dining are were exactly what we needed. We loved cooking and eating there as well as playing games. I had hoped for a hot tub but it was not a big issue. I think each room needs a mirror. Also, the rubber stair treads on the front porch are a tripping hazzard.

Lovely quaint little cottage within walking distance to the beach, coffee shop, ice cream shop and general store. The cottage is very well equipted for a comfortable and relaxing holiday on the beach. Particularly well stocked if you love to cook and eat-in!
