Other Things to Note:

Lawn - We have just completed a landscaping project and prepared the backyard for seeding. Because of that the current condition of the lawn might be different from the pictures where most areas of the lawn have little to no grass.

Train Nearby - There is a train nearby that is lightly audible at times. Ear plugs are stocked and located in the downstairs closet.

Security Cameras/Noice Detector - There are 3 video surveillance cameras on the outside of the property. Two cameras are located in the backyard/patio and point at the 2 entrance gates respectively. One camera is pointed at the parking lane. The property is also equipped with a noise detector used to detect abnormally loud sounds. It does not record conversations and only measures decibel levels.

Bed-Couch - the gray couch in the living room is nearly the size of a queen bed and can comfortably sleep 2 adults. You will find a mattress protector, bed sheets, blankets, and pillows for this couch in the first Bedroom’s closet (the room with 2 twins).

COVID-19 Compliant - we have committed ourselves to Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Protocol, which is designed to provide guests with a living space that is cleaned, sanitized, and prepared according to cleaning guidelines from the CDC and other health organizations.

A very comfortable house to stay in

My husband, my mom and dad & I drove from Kansas City, Missouri to Austin in mid-May 2024 for our son's graduation from UT-Austin School of Pharmacy. We wanted to be in a house as opposed to a hotel. This house was a wonderful place to stay! It has a beautiful, open floor plan and white walls everywhere which makes it seem bigger. The owners were extremely accommodating & responded to our messages promptly. The house is in a quiet neighborhood although there is a train nearby that travels through a few times during the night but it doesn't blow its horn. The owners provided everything a short-term renter might need or want: Keurig coffee machine & K-cups, tea bags, a clear electric pot to heat up water, plates, bowls, sugar, flour, spices, plastic wrap/aluminum foil, cooking pans & utensils, baking pans...I know I'm forgetting some things but you get the picture. Obviously, a refrigerator, stovetop/oven & microwave are in the kitchen. A grocery store isn't far from the house. One of the coolest features is a heated floor in the master bathroom! It's a very home-y place to stay & I highly recommend it if you'll be in Austin.

Completely remodeled Duplex in Allandale

This home is in a great location in Central Austin. Completely remodeled from top to bottom. Plenty of space and great setup for working from home. Very walkable neighborhood which was great with our 2 dogs. Property owners were very responsive and gave great instructions. Overall 5 stars and would stay here again.

Very accommodating

This is just what we needed for our weekend stay in Austin. We found it very accommodating in every aspect. Communication with the host was very helpful, and I would definitely stay here again. P.S. the ping pong table and darts are a great addition. We didn’t think we would really use them, but it was fun! Also, the showers are really nice!

A great stay

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities that I needed, which were all first-class. The location had easy access to the university, which was a plus. The owner was friendly and responsive to our needs, ensuring we had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and I look forward to our next visit here.

Austin Weekend Getaway

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property to celebrate my birthday. The property was very clean and modern. There were plenty of games to keep us busy while at the house. It was a ten minute drive to the places we wanted to go to. I would definitely stay here again.

We met at UC Berkeley when we were just kids, graduated together, worked in the same Amazon office, quit our corporate jobs and became full time real estate investors together! As you can tell, we do everything together, and we like a good challenge. As we travel through our real estate journey, we identify incredibly distressed properties and turn them into beautiful spaces like the Upscale Getaway we are so excited to host you! We love our city, and we work tediously to contribute new life to Austin's rich heritage. Aside from real estate, we love playing volleyball, spending time reading at Barton Springs, and checking out new bars in Austin.
