Located right in the middle of Kill Devil Hills, you'll have access to wonderful restaurants and enjoyable activities while having an amazing view. If you're looking to relax, sit on the hammock and bird-watch with our binoculars while the beach is 20 feet away. If you're looking for fun activities, mini golf and go kart racing are right across the highway. Book soon, we would love to have you!

The only thing I would recommend is the address is listed as the hotel next door. I had to call the host to clarify where the house was. Otherwise the stay was great!

Great location. Easy access to the beach. Beautiful views. The full bathroom upstairs is in the hallway - the 2 queen rooms have to share this bathroom. The full bathroom in the bunk room (bottom level) needs lighting over the walk-in shower. We had to use flashlights. If you plan on cooking you may want to bring your own Teflon pans. The ones in the kitchen are in bad shape due to abuse by other people. All in all we had a wonderful time and great experience. Thank you!!

10/10 beach location! 4/10 house…This house needs updates! Don’t sit in any of the outside chairs, they are all broken. (Like most things in this home) If you want a getaway that feels like home and has amenities like extra towels, pillows or soap, this isn’t it. Not to mention we were left waiting outside while the cleaning crew cleaned until almost 4:00pm! (No first day at the beach for us) If that wasn’t bad, on our last day we received a host email inquiring when we were leaving, reminding us the check out time is 10:00! WHAT! So if I have to say something nice- it is right on a beach beach. Maybe bring a tent???

The location was the best, right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The overall property was clean with fresh linens on the beds, no obvious dirt on floors or surfaces. The exception to this was the in the kitchen.we found dishes, pots, and pans in need of a good scrubbing, with dried bits of food on many items. Also, the bathrooms lacked basics. There was only one partial roll of toilet paper for three bathrooms and no soap in two bathrooms. We had to shop for cleaning supplies after we arrived.

Shaila was a wonderful host and very helpful. We had just a few questions and she responded so promptly every time. This is a perfect location, right on the beach, with beautiful views. The house was in great condition and very comfortable.

This home is a perfect stay for a beach vacation! Just steps to the shore! The home was clean and spacious with all of the amenities you need to feel at home.

We all loved the beach view. The granddaughters loved being so close to the beach. We had plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Loved the sunrise from the upstairs balcony!!!!

We really enjoyed the townhome. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent and easy to fine. The only thing that did not cooperate was the weather.

3pm Check in on Saturday was delayed because the condo was not cleaned until after 4pm. While the location, view and beach access deserves an A, other items didn’t make the grade. This condo needs a complete update to make sure all is working properly. Here are some of the issues we had; screen doors do not work, one is laying off to the side, bring your own beach chairs because the ones there are rusted on non usable, basement shower line covered with mold, luckily we found a new one upstairs to change out. Main closet door in master bedroom is loose and barely hanging on, tv in 2nd bedroom does not work, picture in master over bed is brown cardboard , sliding glass door on main floor is hard to open and close, some of the deck furniture is broke, however there is a great swing! Ice maker does not work, drawers are full of stuff but just don’t look clean , and cabinets in bathrooms just have awkward things laying in them. Stovetop takes long time to heat up burner, downstairs does not seem to get much air, washing machine looks like is going to fall off the stand, beds downstairs uncomfortable, and most importantly… the owners need to get pest control…for downstairs mainly. The location on oceanfront makes this place a diamond… But all diamonds need care and need to be shined. This place just needs alot of attention and it would be Awesome!!!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this beachfront condo. We gad plenty of room to spread out and could have had a much larger party comfortably. We had a little hiccup during check-in, but we worked it out and the hosts quickly got in touch to help out. The best part of the place are the views of the ocean at sunrise and sunset. Even on overcast days were beautiful. We loved having the books, games and a puzzle to do. We also liked cooking and sharing meals together at the big dining table. We really enjoyed this place!

The only pro we had for this property was the location. Right on the beach and close to restaurants/shops. Unfortunately this property could use a deep clean and basic upkeep. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the upstairs screen door was completely off. Dust everywhere. Doorknobs unattached. Holes in walls and doors. Part of the flooring ripped off and kept open. There was no hand soap and they didn’t tell us the towels were in the dryer until we bought our own. Communication was severely lacking from the owner. I never leave reviews like this, but I would not recommend this property until it is properly cleaned and updated to a basic level of safety/comfort.

Check-in was so easy with a key-pad on the door. Our host provided all the communication we needed for easy check-in and out. The host was very communicative when we had coffee pot issues she helped us find a quick solution & reimbursed us when we bought a new pot for the house. I loved this unit, very large kitchen table which we loved. Lots of cooking utensils, washer and dryer, and wonderful balconies. We loved this house and highly recommend. The location couldn’t be better- very close to lots of restaurants, entertainment, and stores.

Just what we wanted

With two balconies overlooking a beautiful, broad beach (just as advertised in the listing photo!), it was just the spot for a week to unwind. I imagine things might get a bit crowded in the high season, but we had our pick of restaurants, sites to see, and trails to walk (along with the beautiful beach) during our Spring Break stay.

Beautiful Ocean View, Upgrades Needed

We have stayed in many VRBO places all over U.S. and Overseas. This is a new listing for VRBO with no reviews. Our initial entry to the place was very disappointing, many upgradings needed to be done and cleaned to an acceptable level. We contacted owner immediately and she responded positively, hopefully the concerns will be addressed as soon as possible. The ocean proximity is beautiful, the views from decks are lovely. Restaurants are close by as well as grocery stores. Hopefully other issues can be addressed quickly for other renters. Lynda & Marc

I dont know where to start. The sink in the kitchen had a horrible smell. We didnt cook there because of the smell. The top of the refrigerator had a inch of dirt on top of it. Then on to the floors, there was sand everywhere. The bunk beds on the lower floor was full of sand. No way the sheets had been changed. Then up to the upstairs bedrooms. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep on. I dropped a coaster in the floor and bent over to pick it up and there was dog hair and crumbs, dirt all under the bed. My husband got a blanket out of the closet and it was covered in white dog hair. The attic crawlspace door wasnt even in the hole where it should hace been. The sliding glass door was so wore out and hard to open and close, you couldn't go outside to enjoy the deck. I am not sure who is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the townhouse, but if the owner is paying an outside company you need to fire them immediately. I feel like we deserve a refund of all or at least a big portion of our money. The only postive things I can say is it is a good location, and the wayer pressure in the shower was great. I will never stay here again.

The location was excellent! However there should not be a cleaning fee. For the simple fact of the place was not very clean. The bed linens had hair and sand in them. The dishwasher was full of dishes. There was no cleaning supplies or extra toiletries. The bedding was minimal, 1 comforter on each bed. It was like getting your first apartment and having to buy everything for the first time. For the price paid I did expect cleanliness and at least dollar tree soap.
