Enjoy a rejuvenating stay at this private Venice retreat, where a heated saltwater pool and bright, open living spaces set the tone for pure relaxation. Ideal for groups of up to six, it’s the perfect home base after days spent biking, golfing, hiking, beachcombing for shark teeth, or exploring the charming shops and eateries of downtown Venice. With quick access to Gulf beaches, Shamrock Park, and the Legacy Trail, your Florida adventure starts right here.

Welcome to our happy place in Venice! We adore this home—the sunshine, the beaches, the shark teeth (you’ll find plenty!)—and we love sharing it with guests ready to relax, explore, and unwind.

The house is tucked in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, perfect for recharging. While it’s a great place for family fun, we do ask that there are no parties of any kind—think morning coffee by the pool, not midnight karaoke.

Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms, all designed to offer a little extra “ahhh” at the end of the day. The cheerful, open layout feels bright and breezy no matter where you choose to lounge.

The highlight? Our heated saltwater pool—pure bliss. Pool toys are ready and waiting, and for beach days we’ve provided chairs, towels, and other essentials to make your outing effortless.

Feeling adventurous? Help yourself to the bikes and kayaks! With the Legacy Trail and Shamrock Park just half a mile away, plus Gulf beaches only minutes from the door, you’ll never run out of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Traveling with pups? We’re pet-friendly! A $75 pet fee applies per stay, and we kindly ask that dogs stay off the furniture and are crated whenever you’re away to prevent any accidental mishaps. A kennel is available in the garage for your convenience.

When it’s time to wind down, cozy up in front of the Smart TV. Simply log into your own streaming accounts to enjoy your favorites.

We truly love this home and this area, and we hope you enjoy every minute—whether you’re hunting shark teeth, floating in the pool, or soaking in the quiet Florida breeze.

Wonderful time here. We enjoyed all the space and the layout of the house was great for us. The pool was the best part for my kiddos. Plus the house had everything we needed for the beach trips. My toddler loved watching the pool fountains and the temperature of the water was enjoyable. Great stay!

Wonderful vacation stay

The house was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool area. Very close to the beach.We will be returning for another vacation.

What a lovely experience staying here! The home was very cozy and welcoming. Our family had the best time lounging by the pool, cooking together and playing board games together. The beds were extremely comfortable with great linens too! Thank you for opening up your home to us

This is a fantastic property and Kindra is a wonderful host. The house is well equipped and well organized.We loved the pool and the big dining table and the good lighting and comfortable beds and side-by-side parking and the spacious garage and the bikes and having a garbage disposal and the big sofa and and and...Nothing negative to say about this experience. :

Stay in Venice

Great house for those looking to stay in the Venice area. Clean, comfortable, and full of all the household amenities you may need. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor area as well. House is close to shopping, beaches, and parks. We found Kindra to be a great host with quick communication and recommendations for the area. Loved our stay!

Heated pool had two water features: a waterfall and a couple of single fountains. The outside yard around the pool cage was lush and varied with trees and shrubs providing homes for birds and bunnies. Between the sound of the water and the sight of the vegetation, it was just so Zen and serene! The lanai is adjacent to the pool, and under a roof for shade and protection if it should rain. It was the perfect spot for adults to watch the kids enjoy themselves in the pool. I loved taking a cup of coffee out here early in the morning, and just soaking up those warm Venice vibes. It is also very close to Shamrock Park with direct access to the Venetian Waterway Park, which becomes the 18 mile Legacy Trail further north. We bike it all the time and love it. Everything was perfect. We loved The Turtle’s Nest! Thank you, Kindra.

We truly enjoyed ourselves. The house was fully stocked (toilet paper, pots/pans, insect repellent, pool gear, etc) with everything we needed. Kindra, the host was easy to connect with. Since we were here for the 4th of July weekend, she provided us with events going on around the city. Thankfully, it was sunny that we enjoyed the pool all day on the 4th AND some shark teeth hunting at Caspersen Beach. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

This place was not only convenient to many beaches and places- it was also very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We brought a lot of things with us that we did not need as the home was so well stocked (ie: crab crackers and picks, seasonings, etc). The hostess was excellent with communications. And the home was comfortable and relaxing. Having a table outside was great for meals outdoors; and the front porch nice for a morning cup of coffee. We enjoyed our time in Venice immensely- especially the beaches where we found hundreds of fossilized shark teeth; and sea shells not found in my part of NW Florida.

We live in Brooklyn, WI with our dog, Xander, and a cantankerous flock of laying hens. We are avid travellers and love everything outdoors – especially mountains and beaches! (Go figure – we live in Wisconsin!)

Beaches, nature, great food, wonderful people, and a break from the northern climate. We purchased the Turtle’s Nest in 2021 so we always have a place to escape and relax.
