Secluded Cottage on 52 Acres - 30 min from Hochatown

I'm beyond excited to have you!
I'm an avid traveler from Dallas, TX and prefer to stay in a VRBO whenever possible to really immerse myself in the place I'm visiting. I've stayed in locally hosted stays like VRBO all over the world, from Morocco to Iceland, and wanted to bring the same experience closer to home!

You can feel free to trek nearby around the property. The grounds are a little more than 50 acres stretching out back past the first hill. If you want to venture out a bit further, the Little River is just a few miles west on SH-144.

If you catch a trout (or if you just buy one!), bring it back and grill it on our deck, then set up a beautiful meal with friends and family on the large wooden farm table. And there's lots of lighting for an evening outdoors. As the night rolls on, light a fire in our fire pit, and when it's time to head indoors, we have plenty of board games to keep you busy.

This newly renovated 3 bed, 2 bath cottage in the woods provides the perfect space to reconnect with nature and spend time with family. This darling cottage has been beautifully updated with the charm and sophistication of a high end luxury home and will sleep 8 comfortably.

The home is furnished with two king-size memory foam beds and four twin-size memory foam bunk beds. Retreat into one of the three elegant bedrooms, expertly decorated with a mix of old and new giving each a modern farmhouse feel. The master suite hosts a king bed with designer linens and fun pops of color as well as a refreshing bath, complete with a shower tub/shower combo, perfect for a relaxing bubble bath. The second bedroom also boasts a king bed with fluffy pillows and shared access to the second bathroom. The third bedroom is perfectly set up with 4 bunk beds and huge flat screen Smart TV. Bring your favorite gaming system to plug in or throw on a movie to relax after an eventful day out.

With an open galley feel and fun sprinkles of color, guests will find this fully stocked kitchen offers everything one will need to prepare meals. Enjoy state of the art appliances, full fridge, large microwave, silverware, pots, pans, an Instant Pot and all the bakeware necessary to make that perfect batch of cookies. Gather around the spacious dining area to enjoy meals with family and friends or a romantic meal at the outdoor bistro. For those who need an office space, guests will find a workstation right off the kitchen. An added bonus guests have access to the laundry room.

The living room is furnished with a cloud-soft couch and a big flat-screen smart TV, perfect for taking the load off after a day spent exploring Little Mountain.

If you want to completely unplug, pour yourself a complimentary coffee or a hot chocolate and step out into the crisp air to sit around the campfire. You'll even have a set of skewers to use for the perfect, roasty-toasty s'more! The property offers an amazing outdoor space perfect for a romantic evening or relaxing under the stars with family or friends. Unwind under twinkling lights or grill favorites on the propane grill while enjoying a glass of wine at patio seating. Spend an evening gathered around the fire pit roasting marshmallows while enjoying favorite beverages, a delightful way to end the day.

In terms of amenities, we've got you covered too! You'll have access to small, yet important, things like: a steamer and an iron, blow dryers, towels, soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner, napkins, and more!
