Holland is a great place to vacation in any season of the year. Located on the shore of Lake Macatawa and a stones throw from Lake Michigan, the opportunity to enjoy the water in summer are endless. Holland State Park is a great spot to watch the boats go through the channel, sunbath, build a sandcastle, swim, enjoy people watching, or view the iconic Big Red Lighthouse. Head north and you have the choice of other beaches as well including Tunnel Park, Riley St Beach and Kirk Park.

Wondering the best way to get around? Holland has more than 150 miles of paved bike paths. You can even reach Grand Haven to the north or Saugatuck to the south by bicycle. There is also Upper Mac or Riley Trails which are both great spots for mountain biking.

Mt Pisgah dune climb and boardwalk is a great spot to get a panoramic view of the Lake Michigan shore near the State Park.
