I love the way that the house was laid out. It was comfortable and clean. We especially loved the sunroom in the back of the house and being able to wash off sand before coming into the house was lovely. We also really appreciated being able to use the bikes and cart for our times at the beach. We had an amazing time and are very grateful for the experience we had at this cozy cottage.

Lovely home. Well appointed. Great backyard. Parking is tricky as the driveway is long but street parking is limited, meaning car shuffling is often. Would stay again

Great family vacation

We had 4 generations for our family vacation. The home met our needs and the fenced in yard allowed room for all of us and our two fur babies, as well.

Great trip to Oak Island

This location was convenient, well-kept, and a great layout for a family. Our children and dogs especially enjoyed the fenced backyard. The island has great restaurants and beaches. Lots of fun stuff to do!

We're really happy you liked the living space, parking, and how close we are to the beach. We hear you about the mirrors and closets being a bit limited. We'll look into ways to enhance these areas for you and our future guests' comfort. Thank you for this and we can't wait to have you back for an even better stay next time!

Debbie Does Oak Island

We were really looking forward to staying at this location for a work of relaxing at the beach. Love the house. We had 10 family members and all were comfortable. Need were nice and house was very clean. Unfortunately we went when Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debby was coming through. Conditions were such that evacuation while voluntary seemed like the most prudent and safe thing to do. We were only able to stay 1 night before we packed up and headed home. We worked with the property owner and management company for a compromise on a partial refund and they were kind enough to agree to it. Owners were out of the country so Information exchanges took a little time. But we worked out out with them. We were very disappointed and were our grandkids that we couldn’t stay, but we will definitely look forward to a return trip when we know the weather will be cooperative. Beautiful home, great location. Well looked after property. Highly recommend

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Kevin! We’re glad you and your family enjoyed the house and found it comfortable and clean. It’s unfortunate that Hurricane Debby cut your stay short, but we’re happy we could work with you to find a solution. We appreciate your understanding during the process, especially with the timing. We look forward to welcoming you back for a future stay when the weather is more cooperative. Thank you for your kind words and recommendation!
