Great house and great location

We highly enjoyed our stay! The house is perfect with an amazing view of the lake and was fully stocked with anything we could ever need. Location was also excellent with easy access to the private beach which is great with kids. Will absolutely be staying again!

Home was perfect for our long weekend on the lake. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 kids. All the kitchen amenities you could need and nice Blackstone grill. Beautiful view of the lake and a great big living room/ kitchen setup. Convenient location 25 minutes from Beach Access 1 and 5 minutes from Bayside golf course. We did not explore the beach near the house because the water level was so low.

Perfect Location

The house was so beautiful with everything we needed. The garage was fun to sit in and just talk and drink. The location is perfect and we were able to leave the boat right by the boat dock at Van's just 4 miles away.

Beautiful views and beautiful, clean spacious home! The location is pretty far from the nearest stores/gas station (20-30mins) so be sure you stock up on all supplies to avoid several trips. The cliff drive up the drive way was a little scary but part of the landscape. I do wish checkout time was a little later than 10 am especially for guests who traveled this far out. Other than that we’d definitely come back with our kiddos. Felt like home for sure!

Annual Lake Mac Family Trip

We had a blast at this VRBO. It was a great set up for our 2 families and our wives were blown away with the organization and labels everywhere. The house was clean and decorated very nicely. Short trip down to the water in our Jeeps. The views were amazing, Van's was amazing (the service to drop and pull out the boat was very nice), the water was a lot calmer this year than our previous 5 years so we had a blast!

A well organized, clean lake house with an excellent view.

The property is off the beaten path, and as listed has a steep gravel driveway. Excellent view of the lake. The path down to the beach allowed us to take a pickup down to access our boat. We put our boat in at Vans or at divers bay (free entry). Home is well organized with many amenities.

Beautiful lake house

We enjoyed our stay with kids and grandkids at this beautiful lake house. The home is well cared for, clean and family friendly. The suggestion of using four wheel drive to get to the beach was helpful and we had no problems. We even helped to tow out a local visitor while at the beach since we had four wheel drive. The beach sands are beautiful. If you walk to the beach, it is about a ten minute walk. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the deck as well as wonderful views of the lake, wildlife and a couple of lightening storms. The big table made for fun meals and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils you need to prepare meals. Thank you for providing such a peaceful and relaxing lake lookout for a getaway!

Great view from lakehouse

Driveway description was a bit deceiving. It is steep and narrow and can not take your boat up to the house. Had to leave it at the bottom of the hill and pray nothing was taken during the night. House is also a bit off the beaten path. Had to drive a ways to the boat launch. Could have also used a few more towels. Overall the house was very clean and well maintained.

The house truly is as described-overlooks the lake with sunrises and sunsets visible! We even had a deer stop by for breakfast outside the picture windows overlooking the backyard and lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The driveway is steep and our Jeep was a good vehicle to have to navigate the roads and access the beach. Overall, the house and hosts met our expectations and then some!

Nice stay

This was a nice stay. From the pictures it appears to be very close to the water, however for us that was not the case but the water level of the lake was very low. Nice clean house and owner was helpful and pleasant

Stunning!!

We loved staying at Lookout Lake house! It is newly renovated with gorgeous views! Everything was clean, new and beautifully decorated. The owners left no details out, providing shampoo, soap, trash bags and even ziplocks. They were also very quick to respond when we had questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Dog hair all over the furniture.

Misleading representation of property online. Dog hair covered all the furniture, even tho there’s a no pet policy.

Hello Linda, thanks for letting us know about your stay! The owner wanted to address the items you mentioned: While we enforce a strict no-pet policy in our home sometimes guests may break the rules and bring a pet into the home without our knowledge. The listing accurately depicts the home as previous guests have enjoyed their stay and we are confident future guests will have excellent stays!

Amazing!!!

My siblings and I rented the house for our youngest sister’s birthday and it was so great!!! Loved having the large table with room for everyone and plenty of sleeping spaces. We personally didn’t mind the drive to the swim beach bc the views were stunning and it was nice and quiet and relaxing! Would HIGHLY recommend this house to people! Will book again!!!

Awesome place to stay!

This was a great place to stay at for a weekend at the lake. Spectacular view from the porch. Very clean and well put together. The rental came with everything that you could’ve imagined. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a great weekend. I’ll definitely be back. Owners really took care of everything for you so you can have the comfort and ease of mind knowing that everything is taken care of! Great place!
