Three Little Birds River House is a great space to kick back and enjoy the breathtaking sights and scenes of the Mighty Mississippi. The wildlife is plentiful with bald eagles, deer, ducks, swans, and you guessed it, fish! The home has two bedrooms and rollaway beds available. Located near many popular destinations throughout the Quad Cities; just 3.5 Miles from TBK Sports Complex, 5 miles from downtown Leclaire, and 9 Miles from Downtown Davenport. Equipped with a large game room, bar, arcade games, darts, foosball, and much more! Round up the family for a vacation or staycation they will not forget! This property was designed for families and friends to enjoy each other's company. Four-legged friends are welcome as long as they can respect the space (Standard Pet-Fee applies).Three Little Birds is here to ensure you make memorable moments with your family and friends. ~ “Every Little Things Gonna Be Alright.”

Recent stay

The house itself was very nice but the outside needs some TLC. The listing shows 2 bathrooms but in truth there is one full bath and a toilet with utility sink in the basement/game room area. The views were beautiful but sitting outside was not of interest

Cozy river side getaway

Great experience overall. As we walked in the the house it was clean and decorated for the holidays. The bottom floor was warm and our kids enjoyed all the games. The upper floor was clean, comfy and cozy and a great place to spend a few days away as a family.

Fun get away

Only a couple hours from where we live in Illinois and easy to get to to. Road going in is a bit rough but the house is simple and good set up for a small family. Close to lots of restaurants and stores. Kids enjoyed the video games in the basement.

I’ll Be Back Again!

We plan to stay again! The view of the river was amazing and can be seen from almost every window in the house. The kids loved fishing, sitting by the fire and playing with the games downstairs. The beds and bedding were very cozy. We also enjoyed watching the eagles and other wildlife.

Family get together

We had a nice family get together for Easter. The weather didn’t cooperate to be outside, but the game room in the basement provided for some friendly competition. We were able to bring our dog and enjoy the stay. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The river view was great and we saw eagles.

Cozy 2 bedroom along the Mississippi river

We enjoyed the stay at 3 Little Birds VRBO. The upstairs has been remodeled and was very nice. We were somewhat confused by the game room as the video games were more the size for a child but we really didn’t have the time to use them. The house is very close to the river and my husband did enjoy fishing there.

Just what I need.

Perfect set-up. Fun lower level which we did not use much this trip but would love to in the future. Close enough to everything to give you convince and options.... But secluded enough to make it feel like a real getaway. There are 3-4 friendly puppers who wander freely on their potty breaks.... So just be aware if your pet is the anxious type. They are friendly and my pup never had any issues or direct contact... They just like to mossy on by and smell all te new smells. The place has a retro feel and hosts went out of thier way to be accommodating. Seriously, the only regret... As I didn't bring a rod and reel... I plan on returning.

Dog friendly, nice hosts, but needs more work

The interior upper rooms are clearly modernized and updated. Very nice except cheap and uncomfortable mattresses for the beds. Very nice modern TVs up and downstairs. Dog crate and toy were in the lower level which was a nice touch. Owners very responsive and very easy to access the property with electronic locks. Water pressure for the shower is too low. Lower level is a basement/ game room. But in wet whether it’s so damp and musty you don’t want to spend time there. A de-humidifier needs to be running 24/7. Access to the actual building was impeded by massive muddy 3-5 inch deep puddles that were half the size of the sunken driveway. The owners provided rubber boots which is nice but nicer would be if they completed the gravel fill in to the driveway so you don’t have to put muck boots on to bring your luggage inside and to come and go from the property. To be fair there had been a lot of rain prior to and during our stay. But it seems reasonable that guests can access the front of the property without walking through a water logged muddy driveway and yard. Overall do not recommend until the driveway and water pressure issues are addressed.

Watching the barges and other boats was enjoyable.We also saw canadian geese and pelicans.The rooms were clean and well equiped. We spent most of our time outside. We would recommend a trip here to anyone. Thanks, John and Sheryl Barlage and Joe and Sheila Boardman and Maddie our little white poodle...

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Cute, on the water, has everything you need. Game room was fun and a great place to hang out with family or friends. Supplies an XXL indoor dog kennel for our pup as well as cleaned food and water bowls. Very family friendly area.

Great stay on the river

We enjoyed our family getaway and were very comfortable during our stay. It was a lot of fun to watch the river roll by and have bald eagles for neighbors! The electronic pinball was a lot of fun. Many thanks.

Peace and quiet in a comfy cottage

What a nice rental. Easy communication with the owners. Cottage had everything we needed AND video/pinball games. Perfect distraction during some very wet weather. When it wasn’t raining we took advantage of the Quad Cities and some of what they have to offer. Would return to Pleasant Valley and stay here again.

Everything we hoped and so much more!

Our plans were to check in and just enjoy the view from the home. The view was outstanding, even with all the leaves off the trees.. the sunsets were magical and the sunrises breath-taking. The row of windows facing the river allows all to enjoy the views even when it's a bit chilly out. We watched the river flow by and the the eagles fly overhead. But, wait, there is more! The inside of the house was immaculate with fun sprinkled all over. The 70's kitsch was nostalgic and the whole home is decorated warmly/comfy. Not only is there a full game room downstairs but the game closet upstairs is jammed packed of hours of games to play. We travel with our dog and the hosts provided food bowls, a large kennel and toys! There isn't much they didn't think of when it comes to vacationer's needs. Hosts were excellent assisting us with checking in and payments. Texts and emails were detailed. We highly recommend this property!

Terrific location on the Mississippi River

We had a relaxing stay. Communication was easy and trouble free. Beautiful and peaceful location. Clean, comfortable and well appointed with amenities close to quad cities if you want to go out but remote enough toenjoy the outdoors we will lagain on futre

Fall getaway

My sisters and i thouroghly enjoyed your home. The firepit on the rivers edge was our favorite thing, so pretty at night. Beds are comfortable as well as all the furnishings, just couldnt ask for a better place in this area to stay, thank you !

Perfect get-away for a long weekend

We spent 90% of our time here on the shore of the Mississippi (aka the backyard) relaxing, fishing, watching the wildlife and the ships go by. This was a perfect long weekend get-away.

So relaxing, so comfortable!

With breathtaking views of the Mississippi this rental did not disappoint! The host was easily reached when I had a few questions. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed, I had a busy weekend planned and the Three Little Birds River House made me wish I had allowed more time to just relax at the rental. I found the Quad Cities to be delightful, so really, the only thing I would change when returning is planning a longer visit. Highly recommend:)

My wife and I are long time Quad City residents. We have three children that keep us busy. We love live music, sports, and travel! We come from a background in the hospitality industry. However, we work professionally in the Aerospace and Industrial buisness sectors.

This property is a beautiful breath of fresh air. You can sit in the living room and watch the bald eagles' fish during the winter, or in the summer, enjoy some fishing of your own. The game room is one of the amenities setting the home apart from other local stays. If you are looking for a family get away, where you can relax, enjoy the outdoors and each other’s company, this property doesn’t disappoint. We are short drive to many the local hot spots, such as Vibrant Arena, Iron Tee Golf and Green Tree Brewery.

This property is very unique. From the huge game room to the river front views, and to the nostalgic decorating charm. This house is made to make memories for our guests.
