Hot tub! Firepit! Walk to Downtown. By Ivy House.

Note: We cannot accommodate early check-ins between May 15 - September 30.

Enjoy the hot tub year-round! Complimentary firewood provided to use with the Solo Stove firepit.

Sweet Maple of Saugatuck is a mere 5 minutes from both downtown Saugatuck and Douglas by car and a short walk to downtown Saugatuck.
Attending a wedding at Ivy House? It is just two minutes away!

Where you will sleep:
Sleep well on the memory foam mattresses in each bedroom. There is a King size bed in the master and Queen beds in bedrooms 2 and 3. For extended groups, there is a Queen sofa sleeper on the main floor.

The master bathroom as an ensuite bath attached. Additionally, there is a second full bathroom upstairs. A half bath is located on main floor for extra convenience.

What Sweet Maple of Saugatuck offers you, our guests:
- Fast Wifi, a private deck with a large Weber Genesis grill, a Solo Stove Firepit, and Smart TVs in bedrooms.
-The kitchen is fully stocked - and we mean that.
Cookware, Cutting Boards, Knives, and Spices.
Glassware for cocktails, wine, and beer.
There is an air fryer and a crock pot, too!
Heck, there is even a turkey roasting rack for those holiday meals!

- Keep your beverages cold in the dual temperature wine refrigerator.
- We provide paper products, such as paper towel and bath tissue.

- We provide bath and beach towels, body wash, shampoo, and hair dryers (look under the sink!)

- All bedding is included - sheets, blankets, pillows. There are fans in each room for white noise or to get a cool breeze on you as you catch some shuteye.

- To help you wake up in the morning, please take advantage of our coffee bar, which has a Keurig, drip coffee machine with provided filters, and a French Press. Some Keurig pods and ground coffee is available to get your stay started right. There is also a tea kettle and some tea bags for you to enjoy.

- If you want to go to the beach, we do have beach chairs for you to use in the outdoor shed. Feel free to use those!
- Play Yardzee and bocce balls and get outside!

This was a great place to stay for a girls trip! Hot tub was great, the backyard was perfect for entertaining! The host was AMAZING. We had a minor issue with the linens and they were very quick to respond! Overall very satisfied with the cleanliness, host response, ease of use and safety of the property! Would definitely recommend and may book again!

Excellent Location to Downtown

Took less than 10 minutes to walk to downtown Saugatuck. Very spacious back yard. Only complaint is that the main shower was difficult to operate.

Great stay with pets!

Had a great time. Super close to downtown and easy to get in and out of town. Yard was great for playing and the dogs had a blast running! Fire pit was great at night:)

Cozy and clean

Clean Home and wonderful yard . We really enjoyed the smokeless firepit and how conveniently everything was already set up to enjoy time around the fire with the family. We are a picky group when it comes to cleanliness and everyone commented on how happy they were with how clean the house was. The only complaint from anyone was that the queen beds weren’t very comfortable to them. We took the king bed and I thought it was comfortable. Thank you for clearly having great management on this property and great cleaners :)

Wedding Weekend

Sweet Maple provided the perfect location and amenities for our son's wedding weekend. The proximity to downtown Saugatuck and the Ivy House made for the ultimate in convenience for all of the festivities. Additionally, the layout of the house offered ample space for us to entertain family and friends who were also in town for the wedding. The hot tub, wine bar area and coffee nook added just the right extra touches for relaxation and fun between events. We loved the decor and while we didn't bring our pup, we loved how dog-friendly the space felt. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Sweet Stay at Sweet Maple

What a charming home. Well appointed, very clean and Jason and Sheryl thought of every detail. Close to everything in Saugatuck, very close to Douglas and Holland as well. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Sweet Maple!

Delightful

The house was fantastic! Very clean and updated. Bed were super comfortable. Upstairs was a little warm but owner had portable cooling fans in each bedroom to help. Homeowner was very responsive and communicated frequently. Gave us great recommendations for wineries and restaurants. I will definitely be back!

Well-equipped and better then Advertised!

My family and I stayed for the week and the location was key. We have been coming to the area for 20+ years. The property had other amenities like a Hot-tub and fire-pit as well as a relatively new Weber grill. The kitchen had everything and more and the house was well-equipped with just about anything we needed. While in Saugatuck, we hiked, swam, boated, beached it and hit a few bars. Pizza at Wick's was fab, Dry Dock was a fun location and Coral Gables is a classic dive bar and institution. The weather made it even a better experience as it was sunny and no humidity all week. Great house to rent in a diverse and mostly forward thinking town...

Great Spot!

We chose this rental as it allowed dogs - let's get that out of the way - and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Nice big backyard, lots of space in the bedrooms for the kids, close to downtown and all the sights, and a super comfy house that made the stay that much more enjoyable.

Great Stay Just Outside Downtown

Our two families had an amazing stay at the property. The house was clean and smelled great on our arrival. We were able to walk downtown most days and made the short car ride to Waypost Brewing and Fenn Valley Vineyard on others. The backyard is huge and a great place for the kids to run around. We would happily stay again.

Great cozy getaway

We loved this property. Easy to walk into town but also close to Douglas. The home felt clean and well-cared for. However, the 2nd bath upstairs could use a new tub and there was not one lamp in the entire place. I ended up buying one because I like to read in bed at night and I hate an overhead light. But the little touches and amenities more than made up for anything lacking. We would stay there again!

One of the best vacation rentals we’ve experienced

We loved everything about our stay - from the decor to the location, everything was perfect. It provided the luxuries of a hotel (luggage racks in each room and a robe!) with the conveniences of a home (fire pit, spacious yard). This was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever had!

Fun place

Had a nice last minute getaway for few days in Saugatuck. Location is perfect. A bit of a busier road. The yard was so nice. Hot tub was a great addition too. My dog was appalled to see the crate, but so nice for people lucky enough to be able to crate their pets. Would come back

Hi! We've been vacationing near Lake Michigan for years and fell in love with that side of the state. When we decided we wanted to become hosts, we kept coming back to Saugatuck as our top choice - and we're so glad we did.

Saugatuck and Douglas are just outstanding towns to visit almost any time of the year. So many places to eat, so much to do, so conveniently located to Oval Beach, Lake Michigan, Holland, South Haven, and Grand Rapids.

We're dog friendly and provide what you'll need to make your furry family members comfortable and feel like they're on vacation, too! The home is smack dab between both the downtown areas of Saugatuck and Douglas, making the location, so, so convenient. The backyard is HUGE! Lots of room for you or your dog to roam. Unfortunately,
