This property is contained on a 400 acre parcel. This parcel does contain three separate houses we rent and a small campground. The water slide and swing were built for the campground as well as the sand volleyball and basketball/pickleball court. Those amenities are not listed as included amenities on our VRBO listings (though people are allowed to use if operational). These two amenities were shut down for reasons beyond our control, and the guest was told this the week before they came. The guest said ok and I'm sure we will still have a good time. This guest never told us anyone was near the property during their stay or it would have been addressed. I have camp managers that interacted with them several times throughout their stay and this was never even mentioned. The campers got a partial refund because these amenities are part of the campground. This guest, even though not entitled to a refund was offered a big discount on their next stay with us as a sign of goodwill. The guest also confirmed they had a good time at our place and did enjoy kayaking, bike riding and other amenities. I did not blame them for not complaining I just said that while on property you had no complaints over the 4 days here but then a day after you left the property you said that you wanted money back for issues we never knew about while you were here. We value our guests and try hard to provide a great experience. Thank you for staying with us!
