Our home, the Dashing Deer Chalet, is the perfect place for you and your family or group to create lasting memories. Whether you are coming for a weekend getaway or staying for a week or two, there is plenty to do including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, rafting, tubing, waterparks and more but if you prefer a more relaxing experience you can relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the woods.
The outdoor hot tub is perfect for unwinding after a busy day or to shed the stress of everyday life. Don't be surprised if deer stop by to graze while you're soaking in the tranquility of nature.
Adults and kids alike will love the game room with arcade games, foosball, air hockey, and hot shot basketball. Two separate living areas with smart tv's for all your streaming services provide ample space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The expansive deck provides a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, read a book or enjoy some smores by the fire table.
The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare delicious meals and the large dining table and adjoining breakfast bar seat 14 people so everyone can enjoy dining together.
With three king beds, two queens and twin bunks for kids, you'll love the luxurious mattresses, linens and pillows which are sure to provide a restful night's sleep. The two full baths are conveniently located on each floor and come with hotel quality towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body gel.
Centrally located but tucked away in a private community the community pool (seasonal) and lake are just a short 5 minute drive away and hiking, biking, skiing, water parks, tubing, rafting, paintball and ATV's are all close by.

I'm from the suburbs of Philadelphia and have been coming to the Pocono Mountains all my life. As a child, I made some wonderful family memories. I can vividly recall family trips in the summer to the lake where we would boat, swim, fish and play all day and then have great meals together before roasting marshmallows and falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the woods. In the winter, we would ski, sled and snowmobile all day before heading back to the house for a great meal followed by board games and a restful night's sleep.
Now, my wife and I have two boys of our own and we're making similar family memories with them and our friends and family.
We hope to provide you and your family with the same great experiences we've had over the years. The memories you make will last a lifetime and we truly hope you enjoy your stay!

Towamensing Trails is a private, wooded community offering a lake, pool, beach, boat rentals, playground, basketball courts and tennis courts. In addition, the community is centrally located near all that the Pocono Mountains has to offer including water parks, hiking, biking, ziplines, paintball, train rides, skiing, shopping and more, all within 30 minutes from our home!
You can sit back and relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the woods or you can get out and enjoy the action of the Poconos!

Our home has plenty of room for 2-3 families with kids. With two separate and distinct living spaces the kids can enjoy playing games in the game room downstairs while the adults chat, eat or play board games upstairs. The outside deck offers a third living space and the outdoor hot tub provides additional respite for those who want to relax.. With so much to do right at our home and in the community many people never leave but if you want to venture out, our home is centrally located and a short drive to all the fun the Poconos have to offer!
