The cabin is located just outside Mt Rainier and so the park was easily accessible. Close to Packwood restaurants, coffee shop, groceries, and gas. The communication with the host was excellent, check in process smooth. The drive to the cabin is on a steep, gravel road with lots of potholes, that’s important to know. The pictures on the app are a little misleading. There is only a couch in the living room, no extra chairs. There are no drapes for the sliding glass door which faces west and so it gets hot with the sun. Theres no central AC, the AC made the downstairs cool but the upstairs bedroom remained warm. The hot tub has seen better days. The cover is broken, the water was not clean, and there was a dead slug on the side of the tub. It had been there for awhile. The bathroom toilet needs to be replaced, you have to hold the lever down hard to flush and again the pictures of the bathroom on the app, are not how the bathroom is currently decorated. There are cobwebs all over the light fixtures, the antler head. And there are zero extra pillows. My husband and I each got one flat pillow for the bed we slept in. It was not comfortable. It was sufficient enough for what we needed but our expectations were not necessarily met.
