My family and I had a great stay here. A perfect two bedroom suite. Communication with the owners was always quick and clear. There was an unexpected issue with the internet from a Telus issue and they were very accommodating to make it better for us. The suite is very clean, high end washing machine and dryer, small but full kitchen, fans for each room, comfy beds and really clean linens.

Super quiet and clean basement suite

This clean and quiet basement suite suited our needs perfectly. There is street parking but for us what was available upon arrival was past about 7 houses (around the corner - not seen from the house), but this new community feels safe. I wondered about airplane noise but didn’t hear any. The blinds keep daylight out so rest came easy - the beds were super comfy too! The kitchen looked well supplied but we didn’t make use of it.

Thanks for your honest feedback and I'm glad you liked the rental space and it worked perfectly for you. There are times that I give guests a spot on our driveway especially if on a Short time stay. I do a lot of pick-up and drop-off school runs and I hate to disturb guests to move their vehicles at such times. That said, there are free parking spaces right on the opposite side of the house that would have been super convenient for you. I'll update the parking information on my VRBO account profile to help future guests. Thanks for this insight and for choosing our rental space. I hope to host you again whenever you're in town.

Small basement with pleasant ambiance.

**Concise Hotel Review:** Our stay in this small basement unit was pleasant. It was clean, well-lit, and quiet, with no noise from upstairs—a big plus. The space includes basic amenities: a small bathroom, compact kitchen (tea smelled old—more coffee options would be nice), a dining table, and two tiny bedrooms. The laundry machines were handy. The unit is quite cramped for more than two adults. Families with young kids may find it too tight, as the living room (shared with the kitchen) is very small. The TV’s mono sound was frustrating—constant volume adjustments were needed. Parking is limited due to circular street and only houses with alley parking; about five street spots fill fast, and winter snow piles make alley parking tricky without a truck or good tires. The nearest groceries are 10 minutes away—a quiet but somewhat isolated area. Overall, we had a good stay with no major issues. Owner communication was fine, though not instant via the app.

Thanks for your review. It's listed as a basement not a whole house. You might want to consider a bigger, more expensive place that would fit your family size with adult children in the future. Kitchen is very small yet has all the appliances a 'big' kitchen would have. New TV has mono sound yet you didn't ask the host for a manual or guidance. Parking is limited but you never communicated if you were stranded for the host to provide solution. I remember checking on you before you checked in even when you traveled at night to get here. I kept asking about your well being yet you're complaining that I don't communicate. When you complained about the washing machine, it was almost midnight yet I responded immediately. I reminded you twice after you've checked out to leave a review yet, you complained I didn't communicate. Really? You complained about the location yet never asked about it before you booked or checked in. It's one of the most sought after locations in Edmonton because of it's safety and quietness yet, it wasn't good enough for you. I get it. It wasn't good enough for your standards yet it was affordable and clean as you mentioned. The average basement suite or hotel won't even give you the value you got for the price you paid. I hope you find your desired satisfaction elsewhere.

* The bedrooms seat 2 comfortable queen beds with perfect window blinds to control room brightness, each having its closet to store your clothes or other personal items, and a reading lamp located on the nightstand in each room

* The kitchen is well equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances that would provide you with all that you need to make your own meal and give you a sense of home away from home.
