Beautiful House overlooking Lake Chemung, with a Private Chef Tasting option.

Beautifully designed and decorated newly built home with a panoramic view of Lake Chemung. Enjoy this luxury home with full amenities for your convenience. This vacation paradise accommodates 12 guests. It has a full kitchen with all the necessary dishes and appliances. It has two decks, one on the main floor with a grill and outdoor seating. The second is a stunning view from the master bedroom, overlooking the beautiful Lake Chemung. The master bedroom has a beautiful cathedral ceiling, a ceiling fan, and recessed lighting overlooking a king-size bed. It also has a full 10' x 12' walk-in closet for all your storage needs. The 2nd bedroom is beautifully decorated with two queen-sized beds, a closet, and a ceiling fan. We have two full-size Murphy beds that fold down in the living room and a full-size fold-out bed in the new 3 pieces sectional in the living room. There are three bathrooms
with contemporary showers and a full whirlpool tub to sit, soak, and relax in luxury. ( the bathtub in the master bathroom - it is not outside hot tub) The home has a full laundry room, and all the linens are provided. We offer housekeeping for an additional fee during your stay to ensure your vacation stays a vacation. :)
We have provided entertainment, such as TV, movies, games, a pool table, internet, and WIFI for all your business needs.
You can rent pontoon boats through CASS LAKE BOAT RENTALS; they will meet you at the boat launch if you want to spend a day on the lake. They do need 2-3 days' notice of boat rental plans. You can not dock the boat near the rental house. There is no lake access included with this rental. Kensington Park and Thompson Lake are nearby, with beaches and water if you want fun in the sun.
Howell and Brighton are just full of festivals and markets year-round. There is also skiing at Mt. Brighton, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in the Winter. This lake house has a private chef-tasting option from Taste Kitchen, a fine-dining restaurant in Ann Arbor.

House was large, immaculate and well equipped. Pretty view of the lake but you do hear the sounds of the near by highway when you are sitting outside. Tons of space to spread out and enjoy. For people with mobility issues, there is a one step entrance from the back parking area that leads to the middle floor of the house. This level has the kitchen, dining, large living room.(which has 2 Murphy beds and a couch pull out) and a full bath. In order to access the bedrooms you must go up or down a flight of stairs. Area was very convenient with an excellent, walkable restaurant (The Log Cabin) and a near by supermarket.. We had a wonderful stay in a wonderful home.

We were in Howell for a wedding. This home was perfect. We hosted brunch on Sunday for family and had plenty of room for everyone. Grubhub delivered breakfast on time for 15 people Sunday morning. Check with host to make sure the coffee maker has been replaced before your arrival. We were more than pleased with everything and would be glad to stay again.

Wonderful stay

The lake house was perfect for our needs. It's large, spacious, and clean with comfortable spaces for relaxation. The main floor couch was comfortable, the basement living area is cozy and comfortable, the TVs were very large and great for movies. We enjoyed both the main floor and master bedroom balconies. The views of the lake from the main floor and master bedroom and even the laundry room did not disappoint. There were games and books and kids toys on the house. All in all the perfect lake house for our trip. Very comfortable home!

Great Howell house for a group!

Had a group of people in town for a friends weekend around the MSU v UM football game. This house worked out great for our group. Plenty of community space, a pool table, and even a couple of murphy beds to use as needed. Would book this again. Thank you!

Perfect Family Gathering Place

The home had the perfect set-up for our family! Three levels, a beautiful deck with a view of the lake, and spacious main floor for a large get together and/or meal. The house was impressive with it's "like new" interior, huge master bedroom and windows facing the lake. The kids enjoyed the pool table downstairs while the adults could converse around the dinner table. This location was very quiet, and easily accessible. A beautiful home and a first choice for us the next time we need to rent.

Graduation stay for extended family

Large home and clean on arrival. We were surprised how much food was left in the fridge & cabinets by previous renters. We were disappointed there was no dishwasher for our large group. Kitchen cupboard door hinges were loose along with the kitchen bar stools - which we tightened. The range/oven was difficult to control the electric coil burners & it was easy to burn food - it could use a good cleaning. The Keurig needed to be descaled. The blinds to the deck door were broken & missing one panel. A huge disappointment was the shower on the main level it was inoperable & it left 2 showers for 12 people to share. The cooling system is un-balanced. The top floor was hot, the middle floor just right & the basement was freezing. The women who slept in the basement slept in layers & one wore a coat to bed! House was lacking kitchen & bathroom towels. We called a family member to bring us extra towels. There were no pillows for the Murphy beds. The people sleeping in the Murphy beds had to go buy pillows at Walmart. The bbq grill was filthy & our grilling man refused to cook on it. Overall we enjoyed our family time there. Our stay would’ve been better if these issues would’ve been taken care of before our arrival.

Christmas Visit

The hosts went above and beyond putting up a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The house was clean with plenty of space, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Our sleeping arrangements were a bit odd due to toddlers, but we made it work. Host was super responsive! FYI the coffee maker is a Keurig.

The house is most certainly large and can easily accomodate a large group. The view overlooking the lake was nice. A hot tub was listed in the amenities but does not exist. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher which is important for sanitizing dishes. Bath towels and wash cloths were scarce and we had to request more from the owner. The house cleaning was not very thorough as we found hair in the bathroom sinks and in the shower drain. Lastly, the house could use some maintenance for loose cabinet doors and fixtures. At the price point of the rental, the house fell short of our expectations.

Big House

Nice big house with plenty of space. Enjoyed the view from the balcony every morning and spent quality time with the family at night.

Perfect for a large group

We had three families staying together, in town for a youth baseball tournament. There was so much space for all of us to spread out. The basement, with the pool table and TV, was an ideal hangout spot for our boys. Meanwhile, the adults could spread out aver the rest of the house. The decks overlooking the lake were wonderful as well, and it was nice to go for walks along the quiet lanes between the houses. We will definitely stay here again if we are close to the area!
