The Copper Kettle Lodge by Tranquility Retreats is conveniently located between Clear Creek State Park, Cook Forest & Allegheny National Forest. Enjoy nearby activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, ATV trails, horseback riding, rock climbing, & more! Explore Elk County & local historical towns with quaint shopping, wineries, breweries, & Elk viewing. Larger cities are within approx. a 2-hour drive(Pittsburgh, State College, Erie, etc.).

THE SPACE:
Copper Kettle Lodge was designed for creating lasting memories with family & friends. This rustic Lodge has upscale amenities & offers:

- Living room/Breakfast nook w/ Smart TV, electric Fireplace, AC unit, Keurig, Mini frig, Sofa bed
- Upstairs Loft w/ Queen memory foam bed (sleeps 2)

GUEST ACCESS:
- Guests have year-round access to the main Lodge, Game shed, Beer shed, Hot tub & backyard Firepit.

- Outdoor entertainment activities like grilling, & outdoor games are available year-round, but may have limited access in the Winter. *NOTE: octagon deck will be locked during the Winter season

- The Guest shed is available year-round for an extra charge. *NOTE: during cold spells in the Winter, it may get a little chilly w/ the limited electric heat.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- Fully stocked kitchen including Instant Pot & air fryer – just bring food, beverages, and personal items!

- Sleeps a maximum of 12 overnight guests: 10 in the Main house, 2-4 in the Guest house (additional charge), plus couches in the Main house & Game shed.

Everything about this place was incredible! Not to far off the beaten path, but secluded. The place was cozy and had plenty to keep us entertained. It was a wonderful weekend getaway! We would definitely love to come back!

The home was very welcoming and it was truly a fully stocked kitchen with starter supplies of everything. There was coffee, paper towels, paper cups, garbage bags, and all the things I brought from home to cook with. Most places do not have everything I need to cook for my family but the had cookie sheets, strainers, a coffee pot for 12 cups of coffee and pods, stock pot, larger frying pan, seasonings, large storage container for leftovers, and baggies. There was also a starter container of detergent. There were plenty of towels too. We also rented the back cabin which was a nice addition. The back cabin was cold at night though, but it was January and the temperature was around 10 degrees at night....Bring extra blankets. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. We would stay again. Thanks again.

This place was amazing! Very comfortable and great amenities. My buddies and I stayed here while bear hunting. It was a big upgrade from the rustic cabins we usually stay in that have no running water or bathrooms. What a difference it makes to be able to come back to a warm place, take a hot shower, eat, soak in the hot tub and watch a movie. I will rent this again next year!

It was a great home for our family and friends. We utilized the outside area the most as we had beautiful weather. We went hiking and tubing very close to the cabin. It was very clean and met all of our needs. The kids loved the game room as well as the Cornhole tournament we had. We created ever lasting memories. My only recommendation would to get a new hot tub cover as it was very hard to get it on and off and it didn't fit well. Overall we had a great time there!

Beautiful home in a perfect location to enjoy Cooks Forest and Clear Creek. The hosts were pleasant, helpful, and responsive. The house is beautifully constructed and decorated. The children loved the game shed and us moms loved the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms (less to pack)! Highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area with all the amenities of home. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Short vacation with family. Loved the variety of activities provided at the house complex. Appreciated the availability of the guest shed since the bedrooms upstairs are a bit small and we needed the extra space. The owners were quick to respond to any questions and came out within an hour when we had an issue that needed to be addressed. Thanks so much!

Pluses and minuses

There were several great outdoor and entertainment spaces, which we were happy to use, including the hot tub, which was very clean. There are accessibility issues with the 3 upstairs bedrooms - very steep stairs with only a partial handrail and low headroom. Also there were no doors on the upstairs bedrooms. We did not realize that both bathrooms were on the first floor, making night-time visits difficult.

Great stay

The cabin and amenities were just as described! Everything in the main living cabin was new and very clean. The beer and game sheds were an excellent retreat area. Hot tub, fire pit with plenty of seating , & grill helped cap off the stay. The hosts for this property were easy to contact & their attention to detail makes this place very guest friendly!!

Brett's Bachelor Party

This was about the most perfect place to have a large get together. The house was very roomy and as described the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And all the additional buildings and outdoor area made for a lot of varied things to do. We had 12 people at various times and we bounced around from cornhole to shuffle board to darts to the hot tub: topped off with hanging around by the fire. We never wanted to leave the place except to restock our supplies, take a few hikes, and as a change....head to the Sigel Hotel which is minutes away by either car or walking.Wayne and Brandee were very responsive to the few queries we had....Enjoyable stay and we all agreed this won't be our last one

Great weekend getaway

Perfect Get Away

The house was just as described, well stocked with everything you need. Check in was easy, the hosts were quick to answer any questions. We had a quick little get away with friends. Enjoyed everything there to include the game room with the teenage kids. Definitely will be staying there again!

Attention to detail

We got the cabin for our son’s 9th birthday. The hosts knew this and even created a cute little sign for him. Plenty of towels and space.

Wonderful for groups

We had such a great time, the lodge was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our group was having a Penn State reunion and the hosts were wonderful and the house so very welcoming. The grilling area was one of my favorites && the hot tub of course. Will definitely be rebooking in the future !!

Perfect for a Birthday Weekend

Copper Kettle was a beautiful place to celebrate a birthday weekend. Adults and kids all enjoyed this home and amenities. Everything was well thought and stocked by owners. We hope to be back again!

Elk County & Historical towns close by with quaint shopping, wineries, breweries, distilleries, drive-in theater, Elk viewing, & larger cities within a 2hr drive. So much to see & do!

The Copper Kettle Lodge has so many unique features. The main Lodge is equipped with upgraded features from bluetooth speakers built-in to each bathroom, USB plugs & nightlight outlets, a dual-sided Fireplace, 2 twin bed fort sleeping cubbies for kids & lots of accommodations complimentary for your stay!
On-site, there are several Sheds that offer additional entertainment for our guests. A Game room Shed has lots of fun packed into it, from an air hockey & shuffleboard table to a Smart TV with DVD player & DVD's.
A Beer Shed has a custom Bar, electronic Dartboard, mini fridge for beverages, Smart TV with surround sound & some fun disco lighting!
For stays exceeding 10 guests, or for an additional charge during the Memorial Day-Labor Day season, a large Guest Shed is available to accommodate 1-4 more guests. A Living room with Smart TV, fireplace, breakfast nook area with Keurig & 2nd floor Loft with queen bed, make a nice private getaway from the main Lodge.
Also during the Memorial Day-Labor Day season, a grill, outdoor seating, outdoor games & a raised octagon Deck with a firepit & bar make outdoor entertaining a blast!
