Mahalo for your *****5-Star**** review🌈! That lanai is such a great local-style chill spot with just the right combo of sun and shade access. Do you want to book for next year while the lower $ Sept/Oct dates are still available?

Such an amazing property and location

We had a wonderful time at this house. It's perfect for a family with 2 small kids - they were able to run to the beach in the morning in their pajamas! The house itself is very clean and comfortable.

Prime location

If you want to stay ON the beach, this is it! It is not the most luxurious place in Kauai, but it is very comfortable, has everything you need, and if your goal is to be outside and at the beach, this is as good as it gets.

As wonderful as always

This was probably at least our 5th stay at the Kobyashi’s “compound.” All the properties are in very good shape and well appointed. The views and sound of the surf are awe inspiring. Mahalo nui loa.

Great location!

Come for the location (steps from Hanalei Bay) and the experience of living on what is one of best, most beautiful beaches anywhere. The home was clean and well appointed but definitely not fancy. But fancy is beside the point when you are surrounded by so much natural beauty. Great experience overall.

Lovely vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time right on the beach near the water in Hanalei, my favorite part was that there were a bunch of toys available that we could play with the water or on the big green lawn out front. we rented bikes and were able to bike to restaurants and all over the bay! We had such a lovely time I would absolutely stay here again, and suggest it to anyone! We will be back!

Paradise

This property may not be for everyone, but we loved it! It was quiet, close to downtown Hanalei and the beach out front is perfect for boogie boarding. You can also walk the entire length of Hanalei Bay. The property had all the necessary things for a great stay, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and beach towels. With not much ambient light, the stars at night were amazing! The only reason I gave it a 4 overall rating is that it is a little dated, but for those who just want to kick back and relax, this is the perfect place!

Lovely getaway

This property was exactly as advertised - which means perfect for us. It's not fancy or posh, but it's perfect for a beach house: clean, all the amenities, a short walk to the beach, and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep. All the communications with the property manager were prompt and friendly. They even sent someone over to fix the safe when we noticed a problem with it. My boys (surfers) loved this place too - and I hope we may all be able to return soon.
