This property sits on 20 Acres has a 2.5 acre and 3/4 stocked lake. Docks are provided as well as a canoe for each cabin. Each Cabin also has its own firepit with benches down by the Lake.

The deck overlooks the 2.5-acre lake and has a 4 person hot tub. A short walk down to the lake provides this cabins guests with their own Fishing Dock, Fire Pit, Canoe (one canoe per cabin please). The Lake and 1/2 Acre Pond are both fully stocked with Bass, Catfish, and various species of Sunfish. Fishing is catch and release, a license is not required

We did a last minute trip and landed on this cabin about a week before. Check in was easy, directions were clear. The view from the balcony overlooking the pond was great, we did some good fishing, we grilled both nights and were able to use the hot tub without issue. Few small things that need addressed would be the broken chair in living space, we ran out of paper towels and there were none to replace them, The bedrooms could use ceiling fans, I'm a 45 year old woman, I do appreciate a good fan. The window unit did great in kitchen and living space, but just don't reach enough to the bedrooms to circulate air. The noise from the window unit did take away some peace from overlooking the pond and listening to the fountain, but overall it was a good stay. I'd stay again but would do it in the cooler months rather than August.

We had a great time comfortable beds very clean our host Ryan was great very helpful and attentive the pond was awesome great fishing and swimming the hoise was very inviting we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful property. We spent a lot of time with our kids by the pond and fire pit. Easy drive to the state park and all the trails in hocking hills. I’d stay again!

the property was great. a bit of a steep incline all around. pet friendly. the hot tub was nice except on day 2 it would shut off on its own, usually right after we got in. then as soon as we got out and dressed it would come back on again. canoe was in the pond half full of water upon arrival. the cabin was clean and welcoming. enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Beautiful serene outdoor space. Squirrels nest cabin has great view from deck. Hot tub felt amazing in the chilly night. Cabin stocked well with utensils, towels, soaps for bathroom and kitchen , garbage bags etc. Fire pit was great!! Newer appliances a plus as well.

Amazing!

It was so peaceful and Beautiful.. Exactly what we needed for a honeymoon. Husband says were going back every year for our anniversary if available.

Was a pretty cabin, however, there was tons of stink bugs and spiders inside the cabin and tons of access spots for them to continue to come in which was slightly frustrating. Other than that, it was a lovely place!

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. We ended up leaving early because the property was in unacceptable condition. The deck felt unsafe to even walk on, furniture was broken and clearly neglected, and the hot tub was completely unusable—dirty, with a rusted, deteriorating cover.What makes it worse is that these issues aren’t new. I later found a review from 2023 calling out the same broken furniture, which tells you everything about how little the host cares about maintaining the property.When I tried to address these concerns, the host didn’t take responsibility—instead, he accused me of harassment. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. He did issue a partial refund, but it did not come close to covering the disruption and overall experience.Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

No where near 5 star

Cabin was rated as a 5 star and was very over priced. It was an anniversary trip. Was very disappointed in the cabin. It was very old and had a smell of urine. Recliner was broken and leaned to one side.

You contacted us after your arrival and expressed your dissatisfaction. I offered a full refund and kindly asked you to leave the unit if you were unhappy. You contacted me later asking if it was OK if you could please stay as it was acceptable. You agreed fully that if I allowed there would be no more complaints or bad reviews posted. I will be having VRBO review our message thread and take appreciate action as you were offered a full refund as I do with any guest that is dissatisfied upon arrival. You agreed to your response and wish to stay without bad reviews.

There was a rat, a mouse or something in the cabin and it ran across my feet as I was eating. I stayed one night which I will pay for but the owner state that’s common. This is not the first time I’ve stayed in a cabin and I have never had anything like this happen before. I don’t mind paying for the one day we stayed however the owner has been refusing to provide me with a refund. I am very very dissatisfied.

Wyandot Woods is a Family oriented cabin rental business focusing on back to basics Family and couple orriented activities. The 20 Acre property has 2 small spring fed Lakes. Around which are Fishing Docks, Fire Rings with Benches, and a Canoe for each Cabin. Guest are permitted to Fish in the ponds which are stocked with Bass, various species of Sun Fish (we always try and find something interesting) and Channel Cats. Swimming is permitted at your own risk. The property is unique in that it provides enough seclusion and privacy for all guests to enjoy their stay and the features individually. However, all 6 cabins are all within walking distance from one another making it an ideal facility for Familys and Groups that wish to rent multiple units.
