Our group loved the house! The amenities here were perfect for our girls trip, the outdoor space allowed us to have a hibachi service in the yard, and the amenities with comfy beds, entertainment, and a stocked kitchen

Great pool and family home

We stayed for Christmas and this house had all we needed and more. Great pool and hot tub, good out door living area and comfortable couches/beds. Loved the house!

Stunning Rental

This is one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. The property and home is absolutely stunning. It is equipped with everything you need. We chose to come down and stay with our 7 year old and newborn. We had an absolute blast in this home! 10/10 recommend!

5-star stay at the Sunset Desert House

We had an incredible stay at this home! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—and then some—which made cooking so easy. The backyard and pool were a dream for the kids, providing hours of fun while the adults relaxed. The beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and even better than expected. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will absolutely be back!

Beautiful home with everything you need!!

We had a competition in Palm Springs and this home fit out three families perfectly. We really enjoyed the backyard! Hot tub and grill were great! We made s’mores on the fire pit. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Home was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here if we come back next year.has every

This house is perfect for a family staycation! With amenities like the hot tub, Bocce ball, and cornhole, there’s something for everyone. The fully stocked kitchen means you never have to leave to enjoy a great meal. The pictures truly capture how gorgeous and well-maintained the house is. I highly recommend it and would definitely return for another trip with family or friends!

Family Spring Break Getaway

We had a great stay at Rina and Raphael’s Sunset Desert home. The house is very modern, open layout, and has a stocked kitchen. The backyard is a private oasis. A pool, hot tub, bocce ball area, fire pit, and outdoor cooking area made for a memorable week for our family. We did morning hikes at Joshua Tree National Park and Palm Canyon, then afternoons at the pool when it got hot. It was a short drive to Palm Springs and the aerial tram. We opted in for pool heat each day and it made for a much more enjoyable experience for our boys.

Great for a weekend pool getaway with kids

Great property for a Palm Springs getaway. Rina and Rafael were very accommodating and responsive. The house was well appointed for kids including a travel crib and children's dishware. There are some restrictions for pool heating, so you have to plan ahead for any time in the hot tub. The property was in good condition and you can tell that a lot of thought went into their build for a convenient stay. Kitchen had lots of good condition appliances and was well stocked with spices and utensils. The neighborhood is a bit less polished than Palm Springs proper and it's about a 15 minute drive into Palm Springs. Pool was 5' max depth and had a nice shelf. A bit more shade in the back yard would go a long way. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return.

Modern home with thoughtful touches

We stayed here with our family for a weekend, and we loved this home! The house and backyard are beautiful, modern, incredibly clean, and the owners haven't overlooked any details! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need from pots and pans, baking dishes, indoor and outdoor dishes, gadgets, a coffee bar, and more. The bathrooms are stocked with towels, makeup removing cloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and more. There are cabinets full of blankets and family games, and outside there's a chest with pool toys and yard games. The outdoor kitchen is great for entertaining, with a grill, sink, and refrigerator and adjacent couches, a tv, and a fire pit. The pool lights automatically turn on, and you can opt for the hot tub and pool to be heated during your stay. We had a wonderful stay, and the owners were very communicative throughout.

Overall, the house itself is beautiful and perfect for our group of 7. The host was responsive and helpful leading up to the stay. Upon arrival, the check in process was very smooth - he was even able to help with an early check-in for a reasonable fee. Our stay was off to a great start. On the second night, we notified the host that the toilet in the primary suite was not working. Additionally, the fabric of one of pool chairs tore as soon as someone sat down - it was clear the chairs were left in the desert sun and had weathered over time. We had the same issue with a second chair later in the stay. We did not ask for any remedy for either issue - we managed with one less bathroom for the rest of the stay. We notified the host immediately for his awareness. After we checked out, we were told that he was "covering" the house call from the plumber, suggesting that we were to blame.He then stated "we noticed some damage to the stove and the rug in front of it, including scratches and what looks like a burn mark". When I stated there was no rug in front of the stove, he conceded and then stated the burn marks was actually on the credenza in the foyer. (A credenza we had no use for and did not touch, let alone burn a hole in). The stove was used once during our stay, and its glass top was in the same condition we found it as far as we could tell. Ultimately, we agreed to pay for the for the sun damaged chairs and a broken trashcan, an unfair outcome in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home beautiful and that the check-in process and communication met your expectations at the start of your stay. That said, we do need to clarify several points regarding the damages reported after checkout. During your stay, three pool chairs were damaged—two were broken and a third was torn. These chairs are regularly maintained, and we have not experienced similar issues with previous guests. In addition, the toilet in the primary suite became clogged during your stay not before, due to items that should not be flushed. Our plumber had to remove these materials and provided documentation of the cause, which we covered at our expense. Your group also broke one of the trash cans. There was further damage, including significant scratching to the stovetop (despite providing appropriate cookware) and a burn mark on the credenza in the foyer. All documented with pictures. When we reached out about these issues, you mentioned needing to check with your group. While we understand that you may not have been personally responsible for each item, we do expect the booking guest to be aware of and accountable for the condition of the property during the stay. We strive to provide a well-maintained home and a great experience for all guests, and we kindly ask that our property be treated with care and respect, which unfortunately was not the case during this stay.
