The image of the community lake is several blocks from the house which is in a residential neighborhood. The home is very comfortable, with a large, shaded yard and the neighborhood is quiet. The surrounding area is fun and has nice restaurants. It is the law to have a pass to fish in the nearby community lake and the home owner can provide this when you wish to fish but you have to request it to be brought to the house. Overall it was a fun stay.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the comfort of the home, the large shaded yard, the quiet neighborhood, and the great restaurants and attractions nearby. We appreciate you pointing out that the community lake is located a few blocks from the house. We also want future guests to know that fishing is available with a required community fishing pass. We’re happy to provide the pass upon request and will gladly deliver it to the home before or during your stay. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to welcome you back for another fun visit in the future!

Weekend of shopping and relaxing

The property is located in a neighborhood nearby plenty of shopping, eateries and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed watching wildlife and walking to the pond nearby.

The house and area were excellent. The house was clean and very spacious. Some supplies were low like dishwasher pellets, minor issue. My family like love the stay and asked to be booked again.

Awesome

Awesome stay! Was in town for my daughters wedding. The house was absolutely beautiful, had every amenity I could want and a few that I would not have thought of like mosquito spray! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will use again if I need somewhere to stay in the area.

Spacious and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious and comfortable home. The house was clean and check-in was seamless. We had 9 adults in town for a wedding, and there was plenty of room. Having two master suites was a plus, especially having one downstairs for my parents who don’t do stairs well. Would happily stay again.

Looks nice, needs some work

The size was great, we loved getting away from the hustle and bustle. The price was excellent. We loved the bidets! The downstairs bathroom had a great size and the shower was lovely. That said we had a few issues. 1) the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door latch at all. You just push it open or closed. 2) the light switch for the downstairs bedroom is in the living room. 3) the only switch for the main bedroom controls both the ceiling fan and an LED recessed light. You can’t turn the fan on without the light also being on. To rectify this, Troy got an oscillating fan (Thanks!!!) but it isn’t nearly as effective as a ceiling fan. 4) we couldn’t turn the AC down below 68 (it was locked) and only for like an hour at a time. We were all hot the entire weekend. 5) the upstairs shower only had hot water for the first shower of the weekend. 6) there was noticeable water damage in the living room above the front door 7) there were worms coming out of the upstairs shower drain. We have a video of them. It was disgusting. 8) There was an awful smell emanating from the laundry room and the kitchen sink. We had to close the laundry room door (not an issue) and keep the the sink filled with water to not smell it.

This property is spacious inside and outside, welcoming, and comfortable. It would be a wonderful property for a family stay. The issue we encountered involved fleas and roaches. The property is carpeted throughout and probably the reason fleas are difficult to eliminate. When we reported the concern, the property manager/owner immediately dispatched his pest control company, but became defensive. He insulted me and refused to offer any type of concession. He stated that I had a "history of dissatisfaction," which is a lie. I have only received 5-Star ratings as a guest, and I have never filed a negative review. We were in town for a family wedding and had no option but to stay. We continued to see and to kill roaches throughout the visit from our arrival on Thursday until Sunday morning when we vacated the property.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you found the home spacious, welcoming, and comfortable for families. We take all reports regarding pests very seriously. As soon as your concern was brought to our attention, we immediately contacted our licensed pest control provider to inspect and treat the property. While no property is completely immune to occasional pest activity, especially depending on the season and location, we work diligently with professional pest control services to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. We’re sorry that you were dissatisfied with our communication. Our intention is always to address concerns promptly and professionally, and we regret that this interaction did not meet your expectations.
