2 bed with amazing views of bay & glacier, hot tub, private deck & fish storage

This 2 bedroom 1 bath unit is located at the end of a dead end road with amazing views of the bay. Located 4.5 miles from town and only a 10 minute drive from the airport & famous Homer Spit. The unit is above our garage allowing you privacy from our main house which is farther down on the property.

It sleeps 6-7 with a queen bed in the 1st bedroom & a twin over full bed in 2nd bedroom. Living room has an oversized pull out sleeper sofa and ample pillows and blankets.

This unit has all the creature comforts of home including a coffee maker with coffee provided to fuel your day, kettle with an assortment of teas and honey, light breakfast items and a full sized washer & dryer. It also has a new 55 inch tv with netflix, hulu, amazon prime and more.

Full access to your own private deck overlooking the bay with a table and chairs and BBQ for that fresh catch you bring back to cook. Wake up and look out the window to see all the wildlife that frequently visits the yard. It is not uncommon to see pheasants, eagles, moose and more. You are also welcome to use our backyard fire pit or if you prefer something more intimate we can provide our solo stove all ready to go for your own private fires. Lower deck has brand new 6 person hot tub.

Needing to work remotely? We have high speed speed internet 50mbs+ for all your email, video meeting and streaming needs.

Traveling with kids? We have you covered. Let us know if you need a high chair, pack n play, kids wagon, car seats or toys added to the unit.

Planning to fish? Feel free to bring your fillets back and use our commercial vacuum packer and deep freezer. We are also happy to provide a cooler and possible fishing gear with notice.

In addition to having access to a commercial vacuum packer and freezer, we also have boat parking if you are planning to tow your boat down.

We also have one of our cars on Turo so if you are looking for a rental car, we could provide the listing and give you a discount.

Note: there are friendly dogs on the property but they will not bother you during your stay but you should be dog friendly. We also have chickens on the property, you are welcome to enjoy fresh eggs.

Halibut fishing trip

Went halibut fishing out of Homer and stayed here, very nice property with very nice ppl, everything went well

A great location with amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The check in instructions were great. The beds were super comfortable. The hottub was the cherry on top. It was hot and clean and made for relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. We even saw moose walk right through the property from our balcony.

Our favorite stay!

This rental has by far been our favorite. The house was clean, stocked, and extremely welcoming. The view was amazing, and the hosts were so kind. The hosts went above and beyond for our family to help us make this trip everything we could have ever wanted. We will definitely be back and also recommend them to anyone looking at visiting Homer.

Absolutely fabulous! The hosts went above and beyond - they provided us with outerwear rain gear to help us survive our fishing charter. They are super great people and the property is amazing! The location is great and the view is spectacular. Great communication too! Highly recommend! We can't wait to stay here again!

We had a great stay at the property! It was one of…if not the best rental stays we have had. The cleanliness of the property and generosity of the hosts was above and beyond. There was a lot of thought put into the little details (for example having convenient items stocked in case you forgot something). We were even able to vacuum seal our fish that we caught in the host’s commercial-grade vacuum sealer. The hot tub was pristine and views were great. We would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend staying here and you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Place

My husband and I loved staying here. We enjoyed spending our time out on the deck which featured amazing views of the spit and Grewingk Glacier. They had a moose around one night but we unfortunately missed it. We would love to stay here again when we come back.

Great view, great place, great owners!

My best friend and I went to the property to enjoy the views and to fish. Excellent views! The property was very clean and well equipped. The owners were super nice and accommodating. They went above and beyond. We will be staying with them again!

Family trip

Great location with amazing views yet close to town. Very clean. Nice deck with a grill. Owners were very accommodating and even let us use their vacuum sealer for fish. Saw moose right from the deck. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful!

This is an amazing place to stay. Just outside of town. The views are A-mazing, and it is so quiet and peaceful. Shannon and Dylan were great hosts. Easy and clear communication. They were very accommodating, and helped us with rain gear for fishing, as well as using their vacuum sealer for our fish. Such a blessing to us! Definitely would stay again.

Great view, great hosts!

We stayed here for a child's wrestling tournament. The view was great, overlooking the bay. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and was enjoyable. They have a couple of kids on site that our own kids enjoyed playing with, we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit with them for a little while, and we had a BBQ we could use on our own to cook some steaks and then watch a movie inside! They are a very nice family, with some great property and plenty of space to let the kids run around. There are some friendly dogs on site as well, but we didn't see them much, until we asked about them and wanted to meet them. After we checked out and left Homer, my wife realized she left her wallet at a local bar, and the hosts retrieved it for us and sent it to us the next day!

My husband and I live in the wonderful town of Homer, Alaska where we love to fish, hunt and stay busy with our two boys. In the off season, we use these same travel platforms to head south to visit family and explore different areas of the world!

This property is at the end of a dead end road with an amazing view of the bay and glacier. Its the right distance outside of town were you get a bit more peace and quiet while also being less than 5-10 minutes from any restaurant, store or excursion you want.
